These Mama Bear diapers are extremely low priced (even compared to the premium Plush Protection Mama Bear diapers), but they are as effective at leaks and as absorbent as Luvs and nearly Pampers or Huggies quality. Only the most wiggly, soggy kid will manage to leak around the leg guards, and the absorbency makes them perfect for overnights. The size 7 diaper fits a bit less snug on bigger kids than most of the other brands, though a bit less well than the newer size 8 diapers. The leg guards and their tendency to leak when kids are acting up dropped the rating to a 4. One of the options for rating these diapers was potty training, and I wouldn’t recommend using any diaper for that. Pull-on diapers or training pants are more suitable for potty training. I hope that Mama Bear diapers consider offering a size 8, as well, to help parents with developmentally delayed kids a bit more, but this size 7 is fairly roomy.

I usually buy Huggies diapers, but these are pretty cheap, and having twins I wanted to save money where I can. I do feel like the run a little small compared to Huggies, at least NB seems to be so for my twins I’m sizing up to size 1 at 6 weeks old( almost 8 pounds). They’re nice diapers, don’t seem to irritate my boys, and you can’t beat the price. Had good reviews so I had to try and I will be continuing to buy more.

We’ve been using these for daytime since birth, now on size 5. They fit our average sized baby pretty well, with the tabs having enough room for a baby with a rounder belly. The leg gussets have held almost every poop but the back will sometimes leak if she rolls around and plays a little bit first. Sometimes she has fallen asleep overnight in one of these instead of a nighttime disposable diaper, and it has worked well for the same number of hours, just is plumper and the tabs will come off easier once she wakes up. Sometimes the tabs do not restick well if she pulls at them but considering the number we have used, it is a small percentage. They seem soft, have not caused rashes when nearly every other brand has, and the price is great, especially on subscribe and save!

If you need/want to save some money these will do the job.
Having said that, I don’t like the following:
1. They sag / get bulky very fast. The way they absorb the liquid is not uniform, so you will see one big bulky spot soon after they pee.
2. Because of #1, I end up having to change the diaper sooner than I would do with other brands.
3. The gel comes out, and it’s actually kind of hard to clean. Because of this, I find myself using more wipes than I would otherwise.
4. Sizes are smaller than in other brands. I didn’t realize until my toddler developed a rash where the diaper closes because it’s too tight.
5. They don’t absorb the liquids as well as other brands, so again, it’s best to change the diaper more often as to prevent a rash.
Apart from these observations I think they perform well. I haven’t had an accident. Some reviewers have said that they’ve had some blowouts. I haven’t, but I wouldn’t discount the possibility that this has happened because these run small so they might have to size up.
I’m overall just happy that there are more affordable brands out there that have same day delivery, and because of that, they get 4 stars for me.

I usually buy Huggies, and love them…don’t fix what ain’t broke haha, but I was drawn in by the great deal on Amazon deal days, plus I had saved up rewards, and decided to see if I could give up my expensive brand diapers.
These diapers are not bad, I actually like the all white with no print. The velcro is very stable, and stays very well. They do sag a bit, but I tend to buy a larger size for my son, he is very long, and I prefer the extra absorbency, so the sag happens in the name brand as well.
No leaks overnight, even when my son goes from belly to back. I don’t change diapers overnight, and no rashes…honestly I haven’t dealt with diaper rash since we moved past the dairy intolerance.
My only complaint so far, is the absorbency gel beads are all over my son’s private area. It drives me insane. I will most likely not buy them again for this one reason. I can’t even imagine trying to clean a female baby with all that mess.

Good quality diaper for the price, We typically use Huggies diapers because they are the only ones that my son doesn’t leak through and so we decided to take a gamble on these and just see and so far he has not leaked through them. I was excepting them to be like other cheap diapers like Luvs which are complete crap, but they are not. My only complaint would be how long they took to get here we ordered them on Friday and they didn’t get here till Monday late afternoon, though the Driver did call me and asked if I would like them left in the package room or at the front door which I greatly appreciate especially since my last delivery someone had stolen one of our packages and left me with an empty box but since my wife was home I told him to just leave them at the front door.

These diapers are nothing short of a game-changer! I’ve tried numerous brands, from Huggies to Luvs, and none have come close to the level of performance I’ve experienced with these. The standout feature is their exceptional absorbency – they simply outclass the competition. I can confidently say that I’ve had far fewer leakage incidents since making the switch. These diapers provide reliable protection, keeping my little one comfortable and dry throughout the day and night. If you’re tired of dealing with leaks and seeking a top-notch diapering solution, look no further. These diapers are a clear winner in my book!
