Loved the glasses I ordered late last year, so much so that I clicked on “order again” but the glasses I was sent are about 20% smaller and don’t cover my eyes. The previous ones were exactly like the MJ Banyans, these are a little smaller. A great option for smaller people but doesn’t quite work for me.

I had no issues with these glasses. They do their job. I would say these would be good for a person with a narrow face. The view is slighter darker than regular polarized glasses

I am terrible about losing, scratching, or otherwise damaging sunglasses. I gave up on the expensive ones like Maui Jim after losing the second $300 pair of glasses. Now I just buy these 3 at a time and keep them in reserve for when I inevitably lose or damage mine. They are surprisingly resilient though, I’ve dropped them on concrete many times and haven’t had any fatal scratches. Mine usually get damaged by sitting on them or the dog getting hold of them. They are light and comfortable even on my big head. The optics are plenty good enough for driving, beach, or out and about. Great value for money.

These sunglasses are very similar to my broken Maui Jim’s. They are very well made, which translates into durable. The polarized lens are first rate.

I’ve been a Maui Jim Ho’okipa fan for year and I thought I’d try these out at a fraction of the cost and they’ve been great. I bought several different lens colors when they go on sale. I’ll still buy a few more pairs and I haven’t reached the price of one pair of Maui Jim’s.

I have a pr of Maui Jim’s like these. I managed to snap the nose bridge peice. Maui Jim customer service refused to simply let me order the replacement part I needed. They wanted me to send my entire glasses in to them to simply replace a plastic nose peice. I explained it wasn’t a warranty issue since the glasses are about 5 yrs old and I simply got them hung on my gym bag… They were going to charge me a ridiculous $ amount and it was going to take weeks here in the middle of the summer to make a 5 minute repair. I offered to pay the ridiculous price for the part AND EVEN their fees for repair! I just didn’t want to be without my sunglasses for several weeks in the middle of the summer! I ordered a pr of these hoping the screw holes would line up… Worked perfectly!! Bottom line is if you need a replacement part for this style of Maui Jim’s, the parts are interchangeable! Obviously I mean the frame parts, not the lens. Anyway, hope this helps anyone who has a broken frame part as MJ will make it a real PIA to get any repairs done!
