I originally bought all pampers pure products for our baby before he was born. The hospital used these Huggies little snugglers in newborn size and they fit him so perfectly. When we got home from the hospital and tried using our pampers pure diapers in newborn size, they fit very box like and awkwardly. While I love the pattern and colors on the pampers pure much more, it’s not worth it if it doesn’t fit the baby well! The baby is now about to go into size 1 disappears and the pampers pure diapers never fit well, I tried them repeatedly over the weeks to see if they would end up fitting. Not sure why they fit so awkward and we had leaks and blowouts every time with those! But these Huggies little snugglers were the best. The negative is that they are not chlorine free, which is a big issue for me and makes me continue searching for a better alternative. But they are fragrance free and free of a lot of other chemicals. They fit so well and really are so soft and protect against leaks and blowouts. They are cushiony and stretchy. I just wish they would go to more attractive designs like the pampers pure, because these Disney designs are so ugly and I don’t think anyone likes them!

I really like Huggies diapers overall as a name brand. They are absorbent, easy to use, no blow-outs, and fit even a little longer than the newborn stage. If you don’t mind spending a little more, they are good quality disposable diapers. I also like that the wet line is easy to see.

These Premie diapers are larger than the Pampers size P1 diapers my baby wore in NICU. I have had 5 babies and for whatever reason, my two girls needed Pampers in the first couple months to avoid leaks whereas my 3 boys have all needed Huggies. These diapers are excellent. I like these better than the Pampers ones we had in NICU because the straps are better. I had trouble feeling which strap was on top on the Pampers diapers and would often grab the wrong one. *face palm* Maybe it was just sleep deprivation, but I have had zero issues with these Huggies diapers!

We’ve tried many brands and keep coming back to these. Others have gave us blowouts and leaks, while these have only had 1 blowout in her almost 2 years and zero leaks. Also other brands gave my little one rashes right away, while these almost never do.

I like the extra hip security with the purple bands so there’s really a total of 4 parts that stick to hold the waist, opposed to just the 2 at the end of the waist straps on other diapers. They keep it very secure which helps to hold the front side up and inside on the hip rather than falling and sagging down like others do without the extra hold.

For us my baby is below the recommended weight size listed but this is the size that fits her. Some say it is too tight on their baby or there’s a red mark, if that’s the case, go up a size! I think these do run a little a small and if your baby is on the heavier side you probably need to go up a size compared to the other brands since it has a snug inner leg band (which is what helps prevent the leaks)
