Herkimer Diamonds are a special type of crystal quartz. The “diamond” in its name is due to both the clarity and natural faceting unlike any other crystal quartz. These beautiful crystals possess a double termination of points and have 18 total faces! Gorgeous indeed!

–> Softness: Sterling silver is very soft, and should be handled with care.

—>Oxidation: Sterling silver will oxidize with wear, this is completely normal. Because of this we have included a free small sterling silver polishing cloth with every order.

–>14K Gold Plated Fades: All 14K Gold plated metals wear off over time. This is expected and normal with gold plated materials since gold is so soft. If the Gold rubs off, this does not constitute a refund. To keep the gold plating on longer, refrain from polishing the studs unless absolutely necessary.

– The 4mm and smaller studs have less prominently defined points compared to the 5-8mm size options. Due to this, ANY and ALL orders of Herkimer diamond studs will be followed up with three images of the current inventory available in that size to ensure you are satisfied with the pair you have ordered.

– Once you have selected your special herkimer diamond pair from the three images provided, no refunds will be processed unless the pair is severely damaged either upon arrival or defective (i.e. the stone comes loose). Please note that the sterling silver posts are very soft metal and are easily bent, as well as oxidize with wear. These do not classify as a product defect if it arrives slightly bent, since the metal can easily be formed back into shape, and the oxidation is normal with sterling silver wear. Simply purchase a sterling silver polishing cloth to easily and quickly wipe off the oxidation.

– If for some reason you do not reply and choose a pair from the message I send out with the three current Herkimer Diamond inventory images or you have not made a request for me to pick a special pair out for you, the same refund policy applies.
