This camera provides the flexibility to photograph a wide variety of subjects. The two lenses allow for close up snapshots, scenic shots and the telephoto lens is great as well. If you’re a beginner with digital photography, it may take some time to get comfortable with the setting options. The beauty of digital is you can take photos with different settings/lenses and immediately see the results. The camera bag that comes with the package is functional, but the divider is fixed and doesn’t accommodate the camera with the zoom lens attached as well as it could. All in all, a solid camera and lens combo that will work for most casual photography needs.

For some very nice pictures really quickly but it takes time to figure out all what the camera does. Also challenging to change the objectives or settings while taking lots of different photos. A certainly a bit heavier than a phone. But overall I am very happy especially for the zoom and the motion pictures.

I absolutely love this camera! I’m a first-timer at this photography stuff.
Wherever I’m going to take photos, I YouTube the settings that are appropriate for the situation.
The photos all turn out incredible, for how inexpensive this camera is.

The T7 is an excellent value for the money. I got a 128GB microSDXC uhs-1 card at Microcenter (no buffering so far). Very easy to use; advanced capabilities for taking very professional pictures. This is the third Canon I have owned (AE-1, PowerShot, now the T7) and I am very happy the T7. The kit lenses, 18-55mm & 75-300mm, are great for general photography (I have done some real estate photography and the 18mm setting is very good for showing a whole room). I may invest in a Canon fixed 50mm lens for portraits. I will also get a second battery. This is such a popular camera, there are literally hundreds of YouTube videos on how the learn the basics and how to employ the T7’s advanced settings (get off the Auto settings as soon as you can)

This is my first DSLR camera and man oh man was I blown away. The packaging reminded me of opening a new sega genesis on Christmas morning. The camera is compact but has so many features packed into that small frame. I love taking pictures of nature and scenery, I live a few blocks from the beach so I’ve just walked there and taken pictures of the ocean and surrounding area. This camera is fun and easy to use once you get the hang of it. I’d definitely recommend it to a friend and at this price point for the set it’s a great gift for that future photographer.

I have always been a fan of Canon Cameras, and this would be a great camera for someone just starting into the world of photography. For the price, this is a great kit. I would only recommend this kit for someone who has no interest in posting photos or videos on anything other than social media. The photos on this camera are acceptable, but not as good as some of its higher level cameras. The video function on this camera is useable, but I quickly grew out of it. The lack of microphone input and headphone port is disappointing.
I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into the world of photography who does not need this camera for anything in sales or publication.
