Pros: It gives you a 3 year license to use Acrobat Standard Cons: An absolute nightmare dealing with Adobe. In fact, after an hour of trying to get the installation file and being told that I had to use Adobe Creative cloud, I gave up and used an older license and installation file that I had on hand. Using Creative Cloud to do this makes zero sense and doesn’t work for our organization. But let’s suppose you do get it working. Navigating the software is another mess and my users unilaterally hate it. A more traditional menu system as was included in previous versions makes more sense. Overall Review: I have no intention of purchasing another license. I intend to give third party software suites a look before investing any more money into software that I can’t even install.

Cons: Newegg needs to delist this sku Overall Review: 3 days and running – even though you enter license key in install you’re pushed to cloud to activate – at which point it forgets it’s perpetual and drops you into a 7 day trial with “no subscription” message. Adobe is all in on subscription model – I just installed Acrobat 17 in May purchased from Adobe site. Unable to purchase from Adobe now – and they are incompetent in getting the product to work.

Pros: The Newegg ordering process and delivery was flawless. Their digital delivery mechanism works great. Cons: There were activation issues with Adobe. I called Adobe Support to straighten it out and they acknowledged my Product and Installation keys were good. They required that I provide the email address used to install – we use a standard address for all 3rd party software – which I provided. That was not the address that their server recorded. They acknowledged that the email came from our domain, but would not go any further unless I could provide exactly the installation email address used. The license was never activated and Adobe informed us we would have to repurchase the software. Overall Review: Newegg is great. Adobe continues to spiral downhill as a user experience… Buy Foxit Phantom or Master PDF Editor instead!
