My adult male cat had never thrown up in the three years I’ve had him, but threw up heavily after using this, won’t eat this morning. This product contains salicylic acid. This is what I found in a search: Skincare products with salicylic acid (also found in aspirin) are especially toxic to cats because they lack the liver enzyme that metabolizes salicylates. If ingested by your pets, they can suffer gastrointestinal irritation and bleeding. Symptoms may include vomiting, abdominal pain and diarrhea.

My cat had some pretty large mats of fur on her. Combing alone wasn’t enough. This detangler spray worked fairly well after working it in and waiting about 10 minutes prior to combing out the mats. It works much like hair conditioner to smooth out and lubricate the hair / fur. After two applications, my cat was tangle free.

It doesn’t do much for matted hair but my cats like it. It really helps with static and make their fur soft!

It works ! Takes a little patience, I sprayed it into my hands and rubbed it on my cats matted fur, made sure the spot was pretty much soaked, and they brushed right out ! def recommend this product!

Works great even when sprayed on brush first, then bushed my fussy long haired cat.

This stuff really works!!! My cat gets matted every year and every year she has to go to the vet to be shaved. Yes, the vet. Not the groomer, because she is so scared that she has to be sedated to be shaved. So she goes to the vet! So this year I decided to try this. I was desperate but had very low expectations. My cat wouldnt even allow me to spray this stuff on her. So I sprayed it into my hands and would just kid of glob it onto the mats on her back and let it sit there. And sure enough, the mats loosened! Enough for her to get them out herself. I did this several times. A little bit each day. But the mats loosen and they would kind of fall out when she groomed herself. A few times she let me sneak in with scissors. And sometimes I found matted hair clumps on the floor that she got out herself. But I am happy to say ALL of the mats are gone. I am seriously so relieved and such a believer. Just let this stuff sit on the mats and do its thing!

My 18 year old long haired tortie got a few large tight Matt’s on her tummy and she also has an umbilical hernia that hangs down (that they didn’t repair when she was spay😡) so I have to be super careful and slow about trying to brush her etc. This stuff seems to really loosen the Matt’s up where you can untangle with dematter.
