I bought this to sharpen a machete, it works effectively. i’ve also used it on seers, snips, and knives. My grandma does a lot of gardening work so I bought her one as well, she was very happy with it and impressed.

There are YOUTUBE videos on using this sharpener. Take a look at them, then go slow. Pay attention to the arrows showing you which way to pull the tool through the sharpener. Also, buy a pair of cut resistant gloves. Larger garden tools are awkward. I would have cut my hand without the cut resistant gloves. The results I got on all shears and tools was good. The sharpener itself looks insubstantial, but it works.

Ich hab schon lange nach so einem Teil gesucht, da ich von unserem Rasenmäher das Messer nicht mehr abbekommen kann. Das war schon so stumpf, dass die Kante schon rund war. Der Schäfer kam gut verpackt und total schnell und ich natürlich direkt raus zum Rasenmäher, das Messer habe ich mir mit Holzklötzchen fest gemacht und ich habe dieses Messer echt wieder total scharf bekommen. Was nicht so ganz geklappt hatte, war das ich Kanten, beziehungsweise ein paar Dellen, von Steinen nicht ganz raus bekommen habe. Aber vielleicht fällt mir da auch noch ein bisschen Übung. Aber das wichtigste es ist richtig richtig scharf geworden und ich hab gar nicht lange gebraucht. Mein Rasen hat jetzt auch wieder schöne Gerade Halmenden, richtig grün und ohne ausgefranst zu sein. Inzwischen hab ich mit dem Keramik auch mal meine teuren Messer versucht. Auch die sind nun wieder richtig scharf. Ein Total großer, Unterschied zur Schärfe von meinem Rasenmähermesser zu vorher. Es ist einfach zu handhaben und ich bin echt froh das ich auf diesen Messerschärfer gestoßen bin

I haven’t used this device much yet. I only sharpened my lawn mower blade. It gave the blade a nice sharp edge.

very comfortable to handle. I used on multiple garden tools and the lawn mower blade with excellent results. It did work best on the loppers and the pruners. My lawn mower blade needed some filing first as it was nicked on the cutting edge. once the nicks were cleaned up, this sharpener made it easy to improve the enge.
