Costume was a huge hit and got lots of laughs. Even washed and dried it and still held up nicely.

Each year my father competes in a national mtb-bike competition in NZ that is known worldwide for toughness and stamina. Following last years epic William Wallace kilt and see-you-jimmy rasta hat, we needed something to top that. While cogitating on awesome men, it suddenly became clear that my dad (who was a former policeman) could do no better than Officer Jim Dangle. But how to find the distinctive attire? His trusty daughter side-kick suggested the all-encompassing Amazon, and there it was! Simple.
Well, not so simple, we needed to get a cousin in San Fran to take receipt of the costume and forward it to NZ for us, because we couldn’t purchase it direct (weird), but in plenty of time it has arrived, been tried on and now that we have all stopped laughing at him, I can take the time to review the product.
Looks excellent, great colour, perfect fit, stretchiness makes it ideal for riding on a MTB. Belt is a bit daggy (NZ for crappy). Cost was perfectly acceptable. Delivery was fast and efficient.
Thanks Amazon!

I would have preferred it to bit a bit more form fitting but for the price, and the “one size fits all”, it was good. The badge was missing so I emailed Amazon and they sent another one right away. Good service.
The outfit was perfect for the gag we planned – especially for the price. Lots of little details on the belt, etc.

Hilarious outfit. Many laughs BUT the Badge fell off before we made it out of the car. Definitely a cheap costume but garnered a lot of fun.

The packaging was clearly ripped and crinkled as soon as I took it out of the shipping packaging. Broken badge accessory, and this costume was clearly used. Definitely should not have paid $69.99 for this. Fit okay, but was in rough, rough shape. Have to use it as we don’t have time to get anything else. Yikes.

Overall I was happy with this costume, got a lot of laughs and definitely stood out from the other costumes.
Cons: No zipper/flap
Flimsy belt (too flimsy to attach handcuffs or other accessories to the clips, it may not snap but it will lose form and not stay flat)
Flimsy pockets, mostly for show. It will hold a credit card and an ID if you are going out, a phone or wallet will be too heavy.
Pros: The short shorts are both hilarious and functional (largely cancelling out the zipper con)
People who have never seen Reno 911 will tell you you have an awesome Super Troopers uniform
To all the guys who want everyone to know you don’t skip leg day, this is the outfit for you!
Neutral/Additional Comments: I would definitely recommend getting the mustache and aviator sunglasses that are often purchased with this. Also cheap black casual shoes.
The shorts (and the shirt) are very thin. Not that you would think it’s a good idea to walk around in the freezing cold wearing this outfit, but good to know for some of you modest bulge-averse/shameless bulge-seeking wearers.

I was honestly nervous when I purchased this costume. I’m a 5’3”, 120-125 lbs lil lady. I read through most of the reviews and just decided I would take on the risk.
Let me just say – it was perfect for what I was looking for. I was incredibly impressed. 👏🏻👏🏻
It was so comfortable and easy to wear all night. I felt complete secure in this and admittedly the only alteration I made was cutting the length of the top because it was just too long for my proportions. Before I cut the top, it bundled in the shorts in a way that made me look like I was wearing a diaper. As soon as I cut it to hip length instead of the leaving it to hang around the top of my thighs, I was immediately happy with the results.
10/10 I would recommend for men and for women.

Pitch perfect. The peices are actually better quality than I expected and nothing broke. I used a fanny pack instead of their belt just so I had some storage and it actually helped the look. Matched with my old white docs for the full look.

If you’re looking to embrace your inner Lt. Dangle, spread the gospel of new boot goofin’, and occasionally attempt some genuine ostrich skit, this costume is your golden ticket. Reno 911 fans, don’t miss out – this ensemble is a crime against fashion that’s worth every penny!

The material is as exactly as thought. It’s cheap and the colour is a lot more shiny-beige than on the show, but per the price, it is what you get for.
The top is roomier than I thought, and the bottoms are smaller, they stretch though, but very very clingy… In a way, I feel like Jim Dangle would be proud at how HIGH the shorts go on me (but I also need to exercise lmao).
There are stickers of Reno on the shoulders, the badge is great.
The belt is NOT good though. It didn’t even fit me and is really flimsy so be prepared to replace that.
Really can’t wait to prepare for this Halloween (despite my friend group not even knowing who I am).
