My dog adores his hedgehog friends so much! I buy one about every three months or so because his favorite thing to do with them is to chew each paw to find the squeaker toy inside. Then when that’s done he goes to work finding the squeaker toy in its belly. The whole process takes about a week before he has found and removed each squeaker but after that? He carries around the hog like a comfort toy that it is. It’s my favorite thing to watch. My dog, Finn, is a 70lbs lab so he’s not gentle with the toy and the durability and longevity reflect that. I’m not sure any soft toy could endure Finn’s determination to destroy but this one does the best from all the toys we’ve found. Generally, after a few months of my dog pulling the toy apart, we throw away what is left of the hedgehog and start the process all over. It’s just about my favorite thing to unbox the toy while Finn watches in excitement because he always seems to know that his friend has returned for another visit. It’s entertainment for the both of us and I’ll probably never stop buying the toy for him.

the GOOD- dogs LOVE the grunting sound. I’ve bought this toy like 20 times in all different sizes. the smallest ones don’t have a grunt. These are a favorite
the Bad- literally ANY toy these days is basically a stuffed animal that gets torn apart fast if you let your dog. I have a 20 pound dog and use it to play fetch in the house. If she lays down with it for more than 10 seconds alone she’ll rip a hole in it or pull fur out to eat. But this is literally the case with any toy if your dog claws at them instead of gently nibbles.

It grunts and squeaks. I have it on subscribe so we get one new one every month. It’s affordable. Ŵhen one of the girls gets crabby they take their aggression out on the hedgehog so by the time the new one comes the old one is usually sans face. I was disappointed cause I didn’t think it made much noise but the girls have a lot more success with it than I do.

We foster puppies and in this case we got mama also since the babies were still nursing. Unfortunately, this was yet another case of babies having babies! In other words, she is very young and just a big puppy herself. Man can this girl destroy some toys! She got spayed and I felt so bad for her having to wear the “cone of shame” plus she was pretty loopy from the anesthesia, so since this arrived the day of surgery I gave it to her, having low expectations of it lasting long. I realize this brand is pretty good, but like I said she is a major destroyer so I figured she’d have the stuffing out in no time. Granted, she does still have the cone on, but it hasn’t stopped her from tearing up other stuff (as in things she was not supposed to get ahold of!) It is currently one of her favorite toys and it makes me happy that she loves it so much. Hey guys….adopt don’t shop! (Sorry, just had to get that in there.)

I purchased this dog 🐕 toy for my mother’s dog. His name is Max. It was for his birthday.
My mother’s dog is very picky on what dog toys he will play with. Also, the dog toys he does play with he ends up chewing them to pieces.
I was so pleasantly surprised that he really enjoys playing with this dog toy that I got him for his two year old birthday.
Also, he has had this dog toy for one month. Max plays with it and chews on it on a daily basis. So far, with all the consistent chewing daily this dog toy is pretty tough and is still in very good condition.
I highly recommend that you purchase this dog toy. I’m very glad 😊 I did.

I spent a whole bunch of money recently buying dog toys, I introduced this one to her as a friend because it makes two different sounds, and she is very good around cats and any other animal to be perfectly honest with you. This is now her favorite friend and she carries it around and is very careful with it. Very happy with the result of this toy.

My dog loves her new “squeaky”, overall it has held up well. Only issue is the felt toes didn’t last an hour. Any toy that will subjected to chewing should not have any design features cut from flat felt cloth and stitched on one edge only.
