I absolutely LOVE this bark deterrent. We have two dogs, an older schnauzer who is terrified of thunder/fireworks and a fearless 2 y/o mini goldendoodle that isn’t afraid of loud noises.
The first time I used it, I decided to try it on them both, due to this ungodly howling they do every time we pull up in the driveway. First warning click they both stopped barking. Our schnauzer started to tremble and got very frightened. He went to hide behind my mother. Our mini doodle wasn’t afraid but it definitely got his attention. Because of how it affected our schnauzer, we’ve decided not to use the device in the house; I take it out on walks twice a day for the little guy and it’s been a god send!
Before, I would get frustrated on every walk almost to the point of tears from his loud barking at neighbors and other dogs but now it just takes a few clicks, I redirect and he’s on his merry way. And the best part is I don’t have to embarrass myself trying to control him and I don’t have to use a shock collar and hurt him. I had a dog once that I tried the shock collar on, following the lead of a trainer, and I felt horrible. Never used it again. So that was not even an option this go around.
I figured we would have to go thru at least another year of consistent structured walks and socializing for his behavior to improve, and also considering that he just turned 2. This instantly stopped the unwanted behavior and he is able to listen and follow directions once I click and have his attention. If you have the same problem that I did, and your dog is not afraid of loud noises, I would stop what you’re doing and purchase right now! ESPECIALLY if your dog is still going thru training. It has literally improved my quality of life!
If your dog is afraid of loud noises, there is a flashlight option that emits a flashing light a small noise. I would stick to this setting (lowest) and use it outdoors when they are active (and acting up). This should desensitize them to the noise and allow you to use it indoors in the future.

We bought the NPS for our German Shepherd/Doberman Pinscher cross. She’s an amazing dog, but at only 13 months old and over 60lbs, she can be quite the handful. She is a puller, barks at everyone she sees, and goes after and creature that breathes – humans included. We’re training her to be my emotional support dog. The NPS device has been working wonders in calming her down!! She barks TONS less, has become friendly with humans and dogs alike, and the pulling has all but stopped. She’s learning so much faster now that we have incorporated the NPS system in her training. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with a dog, especially if training is an issue.

My dog, Rusty, was becoming pretty much unmanageable as far as his barking was concerned. Every time I took him outside, he would start barking and eventually all the dogs in our neighborhood were barking. I know that this is how dogs communicate, however, Rusty would not stop barking no matter what I said or did. I researched many anti-barking devices, and the NPS training device seemed like it was going to be the best solution. I received the NPS training device, and I charged right away. I read the directions and watched the video to make sure that I used it properly. The instructions and the video were easy to understand. I took Rusty outside, and as always he started barking. I used the NPS training device, and it worked like a charm! At first I could see that Rusty was a little bit surprised, but he stopped barking right away. I praised him and told him that he was a good boy. When he started barking again, I used the device, and again he responded immediately. The NPS training device works perfectly! I highly recommend this device if you want to stop your dog from barking without any negative consequences. Awesome product!

I have been literally going crazy with the next door neighbors dogs and the neighbor directly across from our house for 6, LONG years!!! I work at home. They bark all day and all night. I am not kidding. Those dogs are cooped up in the yard and have never been walked at all. Poor things… Anyway, after watching tons of videos on YouTube and trying to find a solution, which seems to be a big problem everywhere, this is my saving grace!!! We have a block wall on the one side where those little dogs are. So, I went to the front of the gate and pointed it at them and pressed the 1st button (Deterrent Mode) and nothing happened. I pressed it again and nothing. They just looked at me. So, I pressed the second button (Sonic Training Mode) and voila! The first time they were startled and ran away to their backyard. I heard them again, 10 minutes later and pressed it again. The other dogs across the way are medium sized dogs. Their bark is horrible and it sounds like they want to kill me. I went to put my trash bins away. They came to their gate and barked. I was in my yard and I pointed this at them and pressed the second button. They didn’t get startled like the other smaller dogs, but they stopped barking right away. Then they both just turned back and walked to their backyard. QUIET! It has been over an hour and I think this might be what I needed. I should have bought this in 2017!!!! 6 years of constant, all hours barking and thinking I am going crazy, and now to peace and quiet. Thank you sooooooooo much for this! A++++ product and seller! EDIT: It has been a couple of days and the barking is 95% better. I hear a bark here and there, but it isn’t from our side anymore, like it has been for 6 years. I think they are staying in their backyard and not coming to the front side. Thanks again!
