Pros: For anyone that needs a good burning program with the bare minimum of extras this version is all you should need! Reliable, and easy to use! User interface has not changed over the years, so if you have used prior versions of Nero you should have no problem. Fully functional features included in this version; Media Home, Media Browser, Nero Video, Nero Recode, Nero Content, Burning ROM, Nero Express, Disc to Device, Cover Designer and Rescue Agent. Does not install any bloatware, but does install a couple of extra Nero features that must be purchased to use. These would be Duplicate Photo Manager and Nero Back It Up. Another cool extra included with this version of Nero is a FREE standard version of Audials Music Recorder! This program is worth checking out and has some great features. You can stream and record many different internet radio stations and podcasts to an MP3 format for editing later. Even lets you record multiple stations at the same time! Can be set to detect when a song starts and stops on stations and saves each one with description names/tags! The install disk includes Nero Content Pack 1, after installing go to their website and under downloads you will find Nero Content Pack 2 which is also free and works with this version of Nero. Once all updates are installed current Nero Burning ROM version is 19.1.1010 Cons: None, Nero works like it should! Overall Review: When installing Nero, select custom installation, you will see a list of all features that will be installed, if you do not want the extras; just de-select them to prevent installation. Once installed, run Nero Control Center and select Update to download any updates or optional software that may be available. Under Nero Tools there are a couple of other free add-ons available, Nero Wave Editor, and Nero SoundTrax. Another free tool that is offered in this installation is Nero Tune It Up and is optional to install.

Pros: None at this point Cons: No Blu-ray player. Appears that Nero stopped including player several years ago. I probably have older copies that have the player . Made a mistake in not investigating the current software.
