Keeps my porch chair free of cat hair

My new cat is just like my expensive kids – why just use one thing when 2 will do. I adopted a young adult cat after her kittens were weaned. She was obviously socialized and was around people early in her life, but when she first came to our house she started marking one specific area. As in 4 times a day for #1 and #2. The house is new, including new hardwood floors so there was no lingering smell from a prior cat. I almost had to have her go to a new home. In desperation (and after trying everything else, including using the same litter from her foster home and various litters, boxes and attractants), I ordered this with another product. This product didn’t work on its own – and I tried both products repeatedly individually – but when combined with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KVUTIM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1, it does drive her to her litter box. Note, the other product also doesn’t work on its own AND both have to be sprayed Every Single Day. So there you have it – combine two to get 1 result, and sadly I now have as much joy seeing the four results in the litter box each day as other highlights in my life such as the birth of my children, various graduations, job promotions and accomplishments, and the first warm spring day. Oy!

Works well to keep my cats away from my rug

I have tried this for several months now. I have found that once the cat has a particular corner, or area that he will occasionally pee on, the product just does not seem to be effective. I do not like the odor which lingers for quite some time after it has been sprayed.

It might just be my cat but it did not deter him at all. It has a very pleasant smell to it

Tried to use this to keep my cats out of the (fake) Christmas tree and was unsuccessful.
I have 4 cats. 2 of them have never cared about climbing the tree and have never been an issue. My other two Cats are mega climbers and Stone Cold Steve Austin the Xmas tree every chance they get.
I figured what’s there to lose I’ll try this stuff.. I soaked the tree in it, got in the tree deep, all around the base, even made a 4ft radius barrier of spray..
Well both cats sat at the tree for 30 minutes just sniffing the thing, moments later I hear a commotion as I see an orange furry flash weaving and bobbing through the branches like nothing I’ve ever seen. Then in the back corner I see the black silhouette of the other cat, he starts swaying back and forth preparing to yeet his brother in the tree. He launches into the tree like an Elon Musk inspired rocket and the battle of Armageddon sparked within the branches of a tree..
Needless to say, I used the whole bottle and my cats showed little care or no care.
But hey, at least the spray smells good! Kind of like rosemary, so that’s nice.

I feel like this works for my cats but I have to spray the area again within 24 hrs. It seems to only repel them for this amount of time before the scent dies down. Which I guess this is normal with any cat repellent spray really but it would be nice if it lasted longer.

I used this alongside a pet stain cleaner on my rug and my cat stopped peeing on it. I had to spray every day, and watch to make sure the first three days she didn’t use the rug. But for about 2 weeks, no issues! But tiny bottle = running out fast, especially using it once a day on a whole rug. I ran out and within a week she was back to peeing on the rug :/ so, it works! But it is short term and not a perfect fix.

Apply this stuff outdoors, or in a well-ventilated area, and allow it to air out for at least a few days. I have a pretty hearty respiratory system, and even I was finding my throat and lungs were irritated until the sprayed item had mellowed out at least two days. Four days was ideal – you could still smell the repellent on the item if you got right up on it, but it no longer made the room smell.
My cat will still attempt to nibble on the artificial tree I sprayed, but will quickly disengage once she smells the spray. After about 4 months, I can still faintly smell it on the tree, but it’s barely perceptible. It’s either just strong enough to deter the cat, or she has learned to just leave the tree alone… Either way, I got the result I wanted. I just have to take precautions next time I use this stuff.

Not a bad product but wasn’t really that effective
