I needed something to keep my cats from scratching my leather recliner. This product helped at first, the cats stayed away, but I had to re-apply frequently, as they came back to scratch again after a short time, maybe a half hour. They did, however, learn to stay away, probably knowing that the spray would be there again!

Both the cats and I hate the smell. The cats stopped scratching the sofa but I also stopped sleep on the sofa. I don’t know if it’s worth it.

I got this to deter my six month old kitten from clawing my indoor wicker chairs. No matter how often I spray them, it seem to attract him. It seems crazy for a product meant to deter does the opposite. I note they don’t have a return policy. So it’s off to the land fill.

I used this product in combination of placing new scratching posts and applying catnip to where I wanted my cat to scratch. She has effectively stopped scratching my chairs! Just remember that there is no “miracle product” out there, it’s all about redirecting behavior.
