Yes, a dog can chew through it if given time and the inclination to do so. But for a dog walk, it’s a great leash and the extra handle is way more help than you think. This is a god quality leash at an inexpensive price.

I have a 85 pound 1 year old German Shepard who loves to pull, this leash handles him very well. It’s sturdy.. comfortable and can get a good grip on him when crossing roads. We love this leash! And for the price, you cannot beat it.

Very strong!! Got it almost a month ago and no signs of wear and tear. holds my 11 month old brindle pitbull that is around 65 ibs. It has pads on the loops so it doesn’t hurt on your wrists which is awesome!! Perfect length for bike path walks. Great quality, affordable, strong and durable! The dog leash is thick and the padded handles make it comfortable to hold. The added handle close to the clasp is perfect for training my pup to walk next to me. The leash length is perfect to give my pup a little freedom to sniff & explore safely.

I have an active 35# dog. We hike a lot. This leash works okay. The hardware is nice. The handle padding is comfortable but if you need to handle the leash part, this is sharp against your hands and on a long hike…. Begins to hurt. I will use this as an extra car leash only and look for a softer feel leash.
