I’m not a “brand” guy. I’m a “if it lasts, its mine” type. Fiskars will replace any of their products that fail, so as long as the company stays open, you’re golden.

These shears are easy to use. They come lubricated and the blades are beefy for gardening. The handles are chunkyish, so if you have sore hands too, you’ll love them! I use them to keep a mini native wildflower garden trimmed around a statue. (And sometimes if I miss a spot while I’m weed eating, I’ll use these for that too. But that’s my “I’m being lazy” use.) Lube with WD40 at the end of the season and they’ll get right to work at the start.

I’m a pretty rotten gardener, and I have a very small yard crowded with fruit trees and vines and all sorts of stuff. I trimmed trees, bushes, vines, all sorts of things that I can’t name but know I needed to tame a little. They’re small enough to fit in my tiny hands, they are easy to squeeze, and raccoons no longer have a handy bunch of tree branches to access (and poop on) my roof. I bought these last minute because my current shears were getting old and were a little too bulky for my needs which was precise pruning. These work great and are very sharp and sturdy.

These are great quality and will probably last for years of hard use if you look after them.
