I bought these for my cats when I took one to the groomer and ended up with non-recognition aggression in the other when he came home. I was kind of skeptical but these absolutely work to keep the cats a bit more calm. Also they love them, sometimes they just go up and take a little whiff. My cats got through the non-recognition aggression incident and are friends again, but I still run these on and off in a couple of rooms to help keep stress down. They work great.

When we use this product consistently, we notice that our cats seem less likely to argue and are not stressed, etc. However, the vials do not last more than 25 days. The product WORKS, but the return on investment is not what it should be. However, this is a consistent issue with every brand we buy, and none work as well.

I originally purchased a diffuser starter kit (Feliway Classic) which helped decrease the antagonistic behavior of one of my two cats, however, it seemed to take over a week to notice results. One month later, I replaced the Classic product with this Optimum bottle–within a day or so I noticed a dramatic difference in both cats. My timid cat actually stayed on his cat tree when a visitor walked into the room when normally he would run to hide. This cat now almost acts like he’s sedated, but happy! The more aggressive cat is less clingy, as he used to need to be with me constantly. I had gotten Prozac from the vet, but he was impossible to pill. Now with this diffuser, fighting has totally stopped and both cats were actually grooming each other. This product is so effective I almost thought the aggressive cat was sick because he became so placid, but after unplugging the device, he became lively again. This product is pricey, but definitely works if you need to keep the peace!

I tried the original Feliway diffuser at the recommendation of our vet for my extremely anxious and neurotic cat, and I noticed no change at all. I scrapped it altogether until over a year later I noticed my cat had become MORE anxious with no obvious cause. I’m delighted to report that this formula of Feliway really helped when I had no expectations or hope that it actually would and had purchased out of desperation. My cat became more playful again, cuddly, more like herself and hiding less. I noticed she seemed to be acting a bit “off” again and a a few days later, I finally checked the diffuser and realized this change happened right around when it must’ve ran out – I wasn’t paying close enough attention. This proves to me just how much of a difference it’s truly made in her quality of life and I’m so thankful for this product! I bought a refill and another diffuser, I might buy another for optimal results. I had given up on Feliway for my cat until we tried this improved formula and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see my girl acting like her silly little self again. I highly recommend giving this a try, even if the original formula didn’t produce the results you wanted – I have confidence in its efficacy and hope for other anxious kitties!

Calms the most ferocious beast! Turns a mountain lion into a lil kitty.
I use this when I know I’ll be out for extended time. Cat is chill. No longer chews or scratches at things. Just remember to unplug it when you get home. Then go find your hibernating cat.

This product has a calming effect on my more aggressive cat. He is young , active and a bit of a bully with my older cat, They have that typical love – hate relationship cats have, but using this product has toned down his rough play and they much less frequent spats

My little old man (he’s a 15 year old senior boy) has been experiencing some symptoms of cognitive decline; general confusion and stress, becoming excessively clingy and vocal.
I got this diffuser and another competitor brand and this works the best. I don’t think I really noticed the decrease in his anxiety behaviors until I realized we ran out of this and had to wait a few days to get a refill.
The anxiety came back in full effect, I was being woken up in the middle of the night to comfort my anxious little man, etc. I’m so grateful for this enhanced calming version of feliway for making life a little more comfortable in our baby’s more confusing older years.

My 6 year old cat was overgrooming to the point that there was no fur on her belly and hind legs. I took her to the vet and there were definitely no flees. We tried her on Prednisone thinking it might be an allergy. I tried twice and it didn’t work. After talking to some of the folks from the foster agency at Petsmart, I purchased the Felliway Optimum plug int. Can’t believe her fur is growing back after a moth of having it plugged into a socket in my bedroom where she spends a lot of time. The next medicine the Vet would have probably prescribed would have been Prozac. The Felliway plugin is a far better solution in my optinion.
