We have a Dachshund who is a persistent barker when we leave the house, even for a very short time, if the door bell rings she barks non stop even though we have answered the door. We chatted to a pet shop who suggested a bark collar that has vibration and shocks, we were reluctant to try this shock collar but eventually we thought let’s give it a go.
The collar arrived today so we fitted it on her on the lowest shock level (1) then the garden service arrived, and she usually goes crazy until they leave…well the barking started 😬 2 barks and she stopped and went under the dining table, a few minutes later she went off again but as before only 2 barks and she stopped, So far 100% success and that was on number 1 don’t forget!, we are home most of the time so she won’t need it on except when we leave the house but I can highly recommend this collar.

Plenty of settings to get the right mix of warning action for your dog. Automatic detection allows for some noise (good noise) but kurbs the over the top barking. Wish we did this sooner!

This literally stopped my dog barking within 2 days. He would bark at everyone walking past plus every time we left or came home. Was so stressful. Life saver!

We bought this bark collar last week for our 6 month old dachshund. The mode button allows you to select 1. Beep 2. Vibrate 3. Shock. We have only trie sit on our dog with beep and vibrate. You can choose to select all modes or just one or two.
The beep mode is a good deterrent. Our dog doesn’t like the loud beep and looks around and stops pretty quick. The vibrate seems to irritate her, so we just went with beep. Good thing is, our other dog will occasionally bark but it doesn’t seem to set it off. Sensitivity level 2 or 3 seem fine for our dog. She can make sounds and bark a little, but her loud repeated bark sets it off. The downside is…. The vey obtrusive shock prongs. They stick out at the back and can be covered by little rubber caps, but they still poke the dog in the neck. It would be good if they weren’t in there. We don’t need them because not wanting to shock the dog. Maybe if we had a larger breed, the collar may sit more comfortably. It seems to ‘pokey’ for her to wear that against her neck while we are at work for seven hours.

Just buy it. If you are here, looking for help, this is it. Buy it!
I bought this for my dog about a week ago. I had tried everything to get my dog to stop anxiously running the fence, to stop barking at dogs walking by the house, to stop barking at the sliding glass door at squirrels and birds. I had bought gadgets that emit noises that deter barking, buzzers, clickers, I had taken him out on a leash in our yard for MONTHS to try and correct the crazy behavior. EVERYTHING and nothing worked. I did 6 months of ecollar training, with a trained professional, to try and curb it. My dog is super awesome at all the other commands as a bonus. I still struggled with the barking in the yard, in the house, on a walk and in the car when he see’s another dog. He’s not an aggressive dog, he goes belly up when another dog comes near, he’s super passive, but he’s just a nutjob behind the fence and on a leash around other dogs.
As a side note, my husband did want to start with a bark collar and I insisted that I could train the dog and fix the issue myself. 6 months (and thousands of dollars) later I just bought the dang collar.
The collar is amazing. I set it on level 3 with the beeper/buzzer/stimulation setting when we first got it. There is no way to adjust the intensity level of the stimulation manually as a heads up. Also, when the collar is triggered, the first warning is all three settings. The dog barks and it beeps/buzzes/and sends the shock all in about 2 seconds. The first time our dog barked and he got the shock he cried out. And I did feel bad. And then he didn’t bark again!! And I was OVERJOYED. In a week the dog has barked about three times. Three times. This is a dog that barked all day long at everything. He has never barked more than one time in a row either. He barks, is corrected instantly, and does not bark again. The instructions say that the more time the dog barks that each correction is higher in intensity (to a certain point and then it resets). I cannot speak to that, I have never seen that happen with my dog.
We tried out various settings. Even with reading the instructions I didn’t quite get the difference between settings 1 and 5. I had the collar set on level 4 when we were in the yard and a dog on the other side of the fence barked and the collar went off. That’s not cool. My dog got punished for something he didn’t do. Setting 4 and 5 are super sensitive to any other noises. Setting 2 still let’s him play in the house, growl and rough house, “talk” but not really bark. After three days of level 3 I adjusted the collar to just a sound and a buzz, no shock. He still hasn’t barked.
After a week he still runs the fence, but not in a killkillkill way. He runs to the fence to see who is on the other side (we live on a corner and have tons of people pass our house), and walks with them as they walk by on the sidewalk in a curious way. We can now be outside as a family enjoying the spring weather without terrorizing the neighborhood. My kids can walk the dog without being scared he will bark at another dog and cause a scene. He doesn’t bark in the car now. He’s still curious of other dogs and is very aware they are there, but he is not barking, not growling, not whining.
And don’t worry, I did tell hubby he was right. We should have bought it sooner.

This collar fits all sizes, unlike a previous one I bought. And the results are amazing…better than any bark collar I’ve used in the past. I have an extremely vocal adopted 8 year old Beagle that needs to be trained not to be a nuisance both indoors and outdoors. On day 1 after receiving it, I set Tye beep sounds and Tye vibrations to setting 3 and did not use Tye shock feature. I put my Girl outside for some fresh air and a snack. She usually stays out there a couple of hours and after about 15 to 30 minutes and then barks almost incessantly.
When I put the new collar on hee on day one she barked a few times and the beep started. She barked a little softer but still too loud to be acceptable so it went ti the shake mode (it beeps 3 times then goes to the shake mode). That did it. The barking STOPPED!! When she was ready to come in she came close to the back door and made a short, low pitched bark, paused and did it once more. I waited to see what he would do if I didn’t run right to the door and he waited a bit and tried his two low barks again. I think it takes 3 violations in a certain amount of seconds and she figured that out. So I let her in, took the collar off and praised her and gave her a treat. She hasn’t even barked inside since that one day.
The second day when I let her out I did put the collar on her to reinforce the training and she behaved the exact way as the first day and when she came back inside and o took it off she has not barked once. I don’t even have to keep it out where she can see it as a reminder. I think I will continue putting it on her when she goes outside fir a week and then stop. But it will be sinething good to take when traveling and such in case she gets excited and overactive because it’s a instant Beagle bark is very obnoxious and unwelcome.
I’m so glad I chose this collar because it has been a life changer. I would definitely recommend it. It is worth every penny and more for my sanity.

I have 3 dogs and a busy park directly behind my house. There are always people on the playground and sports events held in the field making the barking incessant. My youngest dog is 7 months old and if she sees other dogs or people coming up to the fence she will bark like crazy but not with this collar. My most senior dog of 8 years does the same thing but luckily they both hate the beep frequency. I haven’t tried the shock feature and probably never will because I don’t need it but the vibration works too. I set the beep and vibration feature to go off simultaneously, and it worked the first time they barked with it on. I then eliminated the vibration and it is just as effective with just the beep frequency. I have another shock collar with the same 3 features, I still only use the beep, but the fact that I don’t need a remote is the game changer. The battery life on this thing is insane too. I feel like I never have to charge it and I forget to turn it off all the time when it’s not on the dogs. I have the collar set to 5 which is the most sensitive setting.

I was initially hesitant about the FAFAFROG Bark Collar, given the myriad of options available, but this product has proven to be exceptional and transformative for our family! It offers 5 adjustable sensitivity and intensity levels allowing us to find a humane and comfortable setting for our boisterous dog, Bentley, efficiently mitigating his unnecessary barking. The various modes, including beep, vibration, and shock, offer flexibility and ensure a humane correction. The rechargeable feature is a lifesaver, lasting several days between charges, and the sleek, user-friendly design ensures Bnetley’s comfort. Notably, there’s been a significant and peaceful reduction in Max’s barking, much to our (and our neighbors’) relief. Also, kudos to FAFAFROG’s customer service for their prompt and courteous responses. If you’re looking for a humane, reliable, and effective bark collar, the FAFAFROG Bark Collar is a stellar choice! Five stars for sure!
