If you have pain from using a traditional hoe, this may be the answer to your problems. It certainly was easier for me. My garden was getting overgrown as I had been ill for an extended time, but I was determined to get it under control. With this scuffle hoe, which only requires a back-and-forth movement instead of chopping, I was able to tackle the entire project and complete it in 1 day. With a normal hoe, it would have taken about 3 days (It’s a huge garden). Surprisingly, I was not even terribly sore the next day. I was unsure at first because the metal handle was so thick and wide that I would have problems using it, but it turned out that a wider diameter handle made the work easier as I didn’t have to clench my fists closed as tightly around it. All said, I was positively impressed by this new good addition to my gardening arsenal!

It works well, but the edges could be a bit sharper. The weeds do not return for quite a while, as least for me. It is going to take some elbow grease, and you will be sore for a while if you have a lot of weeds, but that is expected with any manual weeding method.

I was a little worried about the quality of this item, but I am totally impressed! It goes together easily but is very sturdy, and easily comes apart if you need a shorter handle. This thing destroyed the weeds in my flower garden with ease! I definitely recommend this hoe! It’s totally worth it!

I plan to try using this more next spring in my garden. I believe it will work best with ground that’s freshly worked. Definitely helps knock out so stuff now, but not as easily. I love that tooth sides are sharp. Not sharp enough to cut your fingers but sharp enough to do some damage to grass and weeds. The corners are great for bigger clumps of grass and larger weeds. Can’t give it five stars until I’ve used it more as a maintenance tool. The pole will start to unscrew but if you tighten it up and are wary of turning it the wrong way, it does just fine

I bought this for my mother. I have used it more than her basically because I do all the work lol. Best thing I bought for weeds. It’s light weight, adjustable to size it twistes off, it is metal. It’s like it has a sharp blade only way I can explain it. It will clear weeds out in know time. It scraps the top an roots come along with it. After I do that I spray weed killer for anything that it misses. Way better the hand pulling weeds. And saves so much time. Go get your self one you won’t be disappointed.

This product works way better than I thought when I first got it out of the box. I was a little disappointed at how it felt (cheap) but it gets the job done. My husband loves it and says he surprised it works as well as it does. He used it to weed the gardens every week and it is great at getting big patches at once.

Nothing to dislike about this necessary hoe. I got this to replace one that was old and wore out. Our small town hardware store had nothing as sturdy as this brand on Amazon. The sturdy handle is a plus over a wooden one. Some hoes do not have a serrated edge but this one does and easily goes through tough weed stems. The fact that it is used effectively with a push pull action is helpfull to reduce fatigue, compared to a shovel. This weed hoe works good even if the soil is wet or gravely. No hesatation going to this company for further tools.
