So I really don’t want to hurt my cat. He’s been being a super pain for months. He will stand by the front door and just meow wicked loud and jump on the handle trying to open the door. He only does it at night when we’re sitting in the living room and he knows we’re here. We have cameras and he never tries that crap when he’s home with his sister. It’s super frustrating. We’ve tried putting up a little fence and he would just jump over it. We tried using a squirter gun and that didn’t work. We tried playing with him more and that didn’t work. We were desperate. We tried the carrot and the stick. Apparently we needed a bigger stick. First time he went to the door I tried the vibrate button on the collar and he kinda stopped but went right at it. So then came the shock. On a 4 setting. He jumped but completely stopped by the door. He been to the door twice since then but as soon as I hit vibrate he shut it down. This had him corrected in a day. I’m writing this review at the end of the second day and he’s been being wicked good. My plan is to remove it if he stays behaved. We have no kids. We only have 2 cats. They want for nothing. Trust me theure spoiled. The door thing was insane. Tough to relax at the end of the day when you have a creature doing its best for attention after you’ve given it so much attention already. We have a pretty good routine. He seems super happy still but just not doing the door trick anymore. Thank god.

The battery lasts forever. I’ve only charged it once since I got it. I only use it about 30 minutes at a time on our walks. We prefer to walk off leash as to allow our dogs to get all their smells in. It helps tire them out quicker if they’re off leash. I’ve never resorted to using the shock feature. The sound effect works effectively. If the dog does not respond to the audible cue, the vibration on the lowest setting usually works. You can also increase the vibration intensity from the remote. I also like that there’s a shock button safety feature as to not accidentally shock them. Lastly, the vibration setting is adjustable from soft to vigorous. All of this is similar to the vibration intensity of a cell phone for context – it doesn’t hurt your dog and can be adjusted to a very soft sensation. Admittedly my dogs are 75-100lbs so on the bigger side… there was one time I had to increase the intensity level to 5 (out of 10). My dog responded well and returned however after that i have not had to turn it back up over level 1 in the last month or two. The slow blinking light indicates it’s on and can help identify your dog in the dark but it’s nice because it’s not too bright nore it’s it a constant blinking feature. I think it looks cool. It’s been pretty durable thus far. No issues here. My dogs use it in the rain no problem here either.

I like the product works great

Works great but I wish it came with a charger for the collars, the remote requires a type C charger but trying to find a charger for the collars was a pain in the butt because it takes a laptop charger and not all laptops take the same charger I had to go out and buy a universal laptop charger which cost me more than the collars
