These do help with the smell a bit better than the regular bage but their pricey.

I have a lovely golden retriever who makes several stinky deposits outside on a daily basis. Because I am a responsible dog owner, I pick up the mess. The problem is that her stuff sometimes comes out soft and sticks to the bag. In those cases, I can’t flush it down… what to do? Then it hit me, I can repurpose our old diaper genie! Now, I keep the diaper genie outside on the front porch, and I can toss in her bags in that. It makes for a disgusting plastic sausage every week, but at least it contains the smell pretty well. These refills work great!

I love the scented diaper pail bags. I will never go back to unscented. I had an unscented bag in place for a few days while I waited for the scented knew to arrive. Whenever I walked into the nursery I felt all I could smell was the diaper pail. Awful. These are a must!

We got these after using the original Diaper Genie unscented bags and struggling with diaper odor in the unit. The diaper odor control is vastly improved in this version! The scent on these is a bit strong at first and it will get on your hands when you change the bag, but we consider that worth the exchange of the increased diaper odor control while in use in the unit. If you have an overly sensitive nose and were struggling with diaper odor using the original bags, these are a good alternative.
