I’m finally giving this a review after using up my first bottle and I actually reordered my second one. That’s how much I like it. I have sensitive skin and I hate the feeling of residual residue on my skin, especially on my face after applying anything (hence why I rarely wear make up). I’m in my early 40s and noticed that I’ve been getting sun spots (which I like to think are “freckles”) on my checks which were never there before. I don’t buy anything before reading reviews or doing research on it. had enough position info on it that I took the chance.
Price was decent for the amount. One pump goes along way and does cover the entire face and under my chin area. Very light feel on the skin and absorbs fairly fast. No linger smell/fragrance, which is a huge plus for me! No irritation or side effects, but do note that if you exfoliate or cleanse your face too often then applying this there will be a slight burning sensation (because this did happen to me) and it does go away in a few mins. I used to use this everyday right after I shower in the evening, but I upped it to morning and evening. Remember to put on some sort of sunblock. Follow its instructions.
I like the results that it’s giving me. My face looks more even, toned, moisturized, and my pores seem to have diminished a little in appearance since I first used it. I don’t get little dry patches on skin on my checks anymore due to the harsh water here in Houston, TX. Again, it’s really based on your skin routine, how consistent you are, how well you follow its instructions, and be realistic with your expectations. Overall, I like the product very much and will continue to use it so I hope it never gets discontinued 🙂

Bought this as a starter Retinol. It seems to be working well. I have tried others and had a reaction to them. This one is truly fragrance free and seems hydrating and works well. I love that its more of a cream base rather than an oil. Will use this for a while before transitioning to something stronger.

This product is magic in bottle!!! I have been struggling to find a good skin care routine that will remove my acne scars and remove dark spots on my face. I will forever buy this product! I’ve only been using this for 2 weeks and noticed a huge difference right away! I am so excited to clean my face in the morning and night now! I also bought the cerave hydrating cleanser, moisturizer and eye cream and they have been amazing as well! CERAVE is the best! Don’t think twice about this product just buy it!!!

I’ve tried using other retinol from the same brand and my face freaks out. This one works the best for my skin type, which I guess is normal to oily. I definitely don’t have dry skin. I just ordered another bottle as I’m writing this.
When I tried the other one of this brand (purple label – I forget the name) my face broke out. Granted, I don’t blame the product for that. It simply wasn’t meant for my face and would likely benefit someone else.

It came earlier than expected and cerave has a good reputation so I think any skin type can use it but it’s from my brother tho. I got myself the oily skin face wash instead

spots lightened up and the lighter ones are going away. one pump is enough for the whole face so I like that. the product seems to work if you stay consistent but results can take some time I have only used for a week and spots slightly lightened so I hope it can get rid of this but the reviews and videos on youtube seem like this product can do what its meant to do but it just takes time. be patient yall

I’ve been changing up my skincare routine lately and decided to try this product. I have patches of dry skin across my cheeks and above my brows, as well as some dark spots from old acne scars, and after just a few weeks of use I’m already seeing results. I was a little hesitant to try retinol but I haven’t had any issues with sensitivity. My skin texture is so much better already from using this along with other CeraVe products.

I have been using this product consistently every night for the past 6 weeks and have noticed my skin smoothen and glow. As someone with naturally oily skin, I have seen some mild improvement with oiliness as well. For modest results, I would highly recommend. For greater results, consider speaking with your primary care physician or dermatologist to see if low dose tretinoin is right for you.
