Gold filled refers to a process in which an outer layer of real (= solid) gold is connected to a metal core made of brass, copper (formerly also silver). The gold is rolled on in a special process and permanently bonded to the base metal at welding temperature. There is no risk of peeling off. The gold layer is approximately 100 times thicker than gold plating (galvanic electroplating).

Care instructions for the jewelry:

♥ So that you can keep your piece of jewelery for a long time, I recommend that you take it off before showering or bathing.

♥ Certain additives (e.g. alcohol in perfumes) can also damage the piece of jewelry in the long run.

♥ The tarnishing of a piece of jewelry is not due to the quality of the jewelry! gold jewelry with z. B. 333 alloy (333 parts fine gold out of 1000 parts) tarnishes because the remaining 667 parts metal oxidizes in air. (The same applies to 14k gold filled or gold plating)

♥ If you then additionally with the piece of jewelry with best. Chemicals / additives (shower gel, bath foam, perfumes) come into contact with this process, this process is supported or accelerated.

♥ Discolorations caused by tarnishing can be removed very easily with a normal jewelry polishing cloth.

♥ I recommend cleaning the piece of jewelry once a month. Then it looks like new 🙂

If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.

Please send the goods back to us in their original packaging with all packaging components.
