I got this as my hubby and I both just get too hot at night. I washed it out of the package on cold, and dried it under a low setting as instructed. It came out fine. I get King for our Queen size bed as I like the extra cuddliness in blankets and sheets. It is plenty big enough for this purpose. It’s not AS lightweight as I expected, but that’s not a bad thing. I do think that you could eventually stretch this blanket out if you tug too much at the top. So I will try not to do that. Time will tell how long it lasts but so far we like it.

This is my new favorite blanket!! It’s a “just right” weight that keeps you warm but doesn’t cause overheating, which is exactly what I was looking for. I love the waffle texture and feel like it adds an extra level of coziness. The only (minor) drawback is that sometimes it leaves little fuzzies on the bed or my clothes, but it’s really not that much or very noticeable. I love this blanket so much that it’s a very easy thing to look past. I also really like the sage green color, it’s almost blue in certain lighting and just looks really nice. I really love this blanket!

Every time I make the bed, I’ve reminded myself to write a review; I finally stopped in the middle of making the bed to write it!! This blanket is fabulous!! We have California King bed. This blanket fits it just fine. After washing the blanket, it seemed like it might have shrunk in width a little. However, the knit was probably a little “scrunched up” coming out of the dryer. This blanket can easily be stretched. It’s like it’s made to easily stretch a bit to be perfect for the bed and yet be resilient and keep it’s shape. It really amazes me how it continues to be perfect. Just pull it into place!! It does breathe and is comfortable in our summer weather. I sometimes put a light throw over myself when the air conditioner is on. I get easily cold. My husband gets easily too warm. This blanket works for both of us. As others have written about washing and all the lint. – that’s true… I dried it on LOW at 40 minutes – 3 times in a row – emptying the lint catcher between each. Tons come out; it ends up perfect!!! Cat loves it too!! I’ve seen a couple of little “pulls” from his claws, which in stretching the stitching a little were both just worked back into the weave with no break in the fabric. Buy this blanket!! It’s the best I’ve ever had – and I’m old!!

My favorite cotton thermal blanket finally expired after several years of excellent service, so I needed a replacement. Goals? Comforting cotton, sized appropriately, a good knit that wouldn’t encourage pulls, not too heavy or too light, and above all . . . soft soft soft. This blanket proved to be just what I wanted. As for the ongoing comments here about lint shedding in the wash, I offer two words in response: ***so what?*** I have washed my new blanket once so far, and the worst that happened was that I had to clear the lint filter in the dryer a couple of times. In my book, that’s well worth it.

Let me start off- I love love love this blanket. I actually banished all the other blankets from my room after getting this one. It’s soft, BEAUTIFUL Color, just warm enough for hot summer months with a cold AC, it will do great in a warmer winter too. It has a nice texture, and is a popular hangout spot for me and the fur babies to snuggle up in. I’m in love, it’s amazing, please buy this blanket
Also-Yes, it did shed at first- it’s a natural fiber it will do that. A few washes and all the shedding just goes into the lint container in the dryer.

I wanted something a little more than my light duvet but not so much as another comforter and decided this cotton blanket was a great alternative, as I have had them before through the years. It is a good weight and just a perfect addition to my sleeping. I love this blanket and the paperwork that came with it stated that it would shed as it was cotton threads. Okay. Shed is an understatement. I have washed it and dried it three times now during the six weeks I have owned it. I would think with the dryer most of the shedding would occur there. I have vacuumed and mop dusted up blue furry dust for weeks. My ceiling fan blades are covered weekly and so is the filter to my two heat pumps. I have a fan in the far room for circulationa and even that is covered. So I can’t imagine what we are breathing in.

I live in Florida and it gets hot! This blanket is perfect for when I need a little more than just sheets to keep my body temperature just right. I also like the weight it offers; it makes sleeping more cozy.
I must warn you though; the first time you wash it, there is a lot of lent that comes off in the dryer. I was able to get rid of all the extra lint by drying it extra long, with no heat. Now it is perfect.

I love the weight of this blanket!! It’s heavy enough that you can tell you have a blanket on but light enough that you don’t sweat! I got fuzzy things on me when I used it at first when I first opened it but I washed it once and they are gone now! Highly recommend the purchase!!
