These were pretty cute and easy to use. The color temp is like a ‘bright white’ (not overly warm or cool). It took seconds to set them up (just take out of the package and remove the tab covering the battery.
There are three modes – fast blinking, slow blinking, and steady on. I prefer steady on. You have to manually turn them on and off, which means we’ll probably use these indoors rather than outdoors. If there was a solar version available (automatic on and off), I would put them outside.
There are short ties on the top that you can use for hanging.
Overall a pretty good product.

Halloween has always been my fav holiday…even as a kid it far outranked Christmas, my birthday, ect. Now an adult, I still like Halloween in the kid way (no sluty costumes, drinking, really scary/gross stuff) — the magic spirit of it … the slightly creepy, but mostly fun…the odd combinations/creations/creativity that kids magically bring to life… the slight creepiness that is somehow more just adorable. That kid version of Halloween is soo well encapulated by this decor. The pairing of ghost body with witches hats and jackolantern faces — faces that look like they are intended to be scary but are too cute to truly envoke fear.

Different light settings which works great so you can customize depending on where you place it and what other decorations you have. Easy to set up, did it right off the box. Back to back design which makes it’s swaying motion look 3d. I don’t know if that was intended but it worked out perfectly.

Originally when I received the item I was a little disappointed. The pumpkins were flat and there are strings at the top (instead of something to easily hook them onto).
I discovered 2 easy ways to make these significantly improved!!
– I tied the top of the strings together, and used an “S” hook – that drastically improved the ease of hanging them.
– The most important upgrade… simple balloons. We had some balloons around the house, and blowing up a balloon about the size of a baseball (or a little smaller) really took it to the next level. Originally I did it just to help improve the “flat” look… but I surprised myself when I turned the lights off, and it made them light up with the color!
The lights have different options for flashing (which I didn’t personally care for), but the solid-on light was what worked for me.
In the photos I included a reference photo in front of my house of a couple with balloons inside, and one of the hanging ones plain, to show as reference.

He’s been playing with these and asked to have them in his room for when we are reading Halloween bedtime books. The different options for the lights is a nice touch.
