I bought this litter when the kind I used was out since it was the same brand… never went back!
I have a sifting litter box where you pour the litter into a sifter section and the clean litter filters down into another bin. The previous litter I used would stick to the box and I would sometimes have to hit it to loose. I would have to use paper towels to get remaining areas that stuck.
Not this litter! The slide in the title is absolutely right. The litter clumps never stick to the bottom making this so much easier to clean. It also really grabs odors.
This alternate purchase ended up becoming my primary litter. 10/10 recommend switching.

This is the best cat litter! I usually buy Arm and Hammer Double Duty but it was out of stock at my local Walmart so out of desperation I tried this and I’m so glad that I did! The Double Duty litter clumped well but was very messy, it would stick to the bottom of the litter box and on the scooper. This is the opposite, it clumps messes with just enough litter to cover them, and slides off everything else with ease, no sticking! The consistency is like sand (it’s not dusty at all) and I’ve noticed my cat is not tracking/splashing nearly as much out of the box. Also I didn’t notice a fragrance but it definitely keeps odor under control, I’ve been using it for a week cleaning the box daily and my house smells so much fresher! Try it, it’s worth it!

Slide litter is always better for sifting litter boxes. I don’t have to use a scoop to scrape soaked litter off of the bottom of the box, it literally just slides right out! The smell is nice, nothing too overpowering. The box was shipped fine, it wasn’t broken or anything, but a good amount of litter found its way through the cracks on the top of the packaging, so there was like a cup of litter in the amazon box when I got it.

I have used the clump and slide for a long time because it’s a dependable consistent cat litter that is easy to use and clean. I did try a different brand with the crystals and it just acted like a magnet on my cat and had crystals all over the house. Drove me crazy. So I’m back and doing the monthly subscription through Amazon. Some tracking but controlled, clean daily with no order and a great quality and value.

Minimal tracking IF your cat doesn’t kick it out. I sift this using the Arm & Hammer Sifting Litter Pans and it’s a smooth and easy process. It clumps nicely, absorbs odor well and the scent is ok too. I have tried around 5 different cat litters and this one is by far the best.

I have had cats my whole life. I’ve used clay litter, crystal litter, instant clumping natural litter, pellets, etc.. the whole nine yards.
Recently, due to my living situation, I have to have my litter box in my closet. It has been a pain for the past year to find a litter that completely controls the odor—until now! AND I have an air purifier in my closet but up until now it has barely mitigated odors.
I’ll give a short summary comparing other litters and why I’ve been inclined to write this review!
Crystal litter – great at controlling poop odor but terrible for urine (especially if you have a cat that pees a lot). 1 1/2 – 2” of litter is supposed to last 2 weeks, so an 8lb bag, theoretically, should last 2 months, no. Also, you have to shift the litter around for the urine to be evenly absorbed everyday when cleaning out the box. However, if you have a cat that pees a lot then the litter gets over saturated, sits at the bottom of the box, and smells wretched. Therefore, needing to be changed more often and that’s hella expensive. It was great when my cat was smaller though!
Clay litter – personally, I hate the smell of any clay litter, so this take is biased. Ever Clean cat litter is great if you don’t mind the smell of clay litter.
Instant clumping natural “fragrance free” litter – Amazing at clumping urine and controlling that odor. However, if your cat takes a fat dump then it’ll be the worst smelling scent you have ever smelled. It’s vile. I don’t know what they put in Sustainably Yours (or anything like it) but it is terrible at controlling odors, specifically poop. I promise you, avoid it. Also, it’s expensive as hell.
Pellets – Honestly, overall pretty great and also really cheap. I just found it to be a hassle to clean up when the pellets dissolved into dust. Really affordable too.
Ultimately, this cat litter right here has done everything it said it would. I have not smelt any odors from the litter box since the day I put it in. It’s easy to clean out and I’m really satisfied with it + the price is decent. One thing though, the clumping for urine is OK. It clumps well but is mushy, if that makes sense. I would still take this over any of the other litters mentioned!

This is great litter, my favorite that I’ve tried so far. Clumps very well and controls odor. And, I experienced very good customer service when there was a problem with the delivery. The original box of litter arrived damaged – the litter had leaked out. I contacted Amazon, and they replaced the litter (and two other items that were in the delivery box that were covered with the spilled litter) at no charge. Since the litter box arrived damaged, I did not have to return it or the other two items. I received the replacement items within two days. Very pleased!

This litter does a good job of keeping the clumps in tact and makes it easy to dispose of. We have two cats and if cleaned daily the litter doesn’t stink up. Will keep on buying this litter for as long as they sell it.
