I got this for a trip to Norway to photograph the Northern Lights. I wanted a small but stable tripod that would fit in a standard carry-on piece of luggage. This did a nice job in a hard environment and I still use it regularly even though I have a more robust model I use for windy nights or highly unstable ground. A good basic product.

I have to say they like the kind of stands that will not last forever or for a long period of time, but it does the job quite fine and it is lightweight which is extremely good, functionality is king.

I bought it with a camera recently and it’s okay.
I like how easy it it to put up, but stability is finicky if you don’t know what you’re doing.
If you are placing it on anything but hard flooring, put something under the legs to keep it in place.
I recommend if you are just starting to film for YouTube and such.

It’s pretty stable when video cam is attached to it, which I was concerned about, nothing more frustrating than a wobbly stand. Fully stretched it stands higher than I thought it would. Lightweight, the carrying bag is sturdy. Good purchase

While the tripod’s maximum height, partial plastic assembly, and lack of a crank or space for a cold shoe light betray its humble goals as a budget-level product, this is actually a pretty solid and reliable little tripod. It’s portable enough to stash in a larger backpack or the trunk of a small car. It’s strong enough to support a modern mirrorless camera with a reasonably moderately heavy lens attached to it. (If you still use a dedicated palmcorder, it will work fine with it as well). It does not have a smooth swivel head intended for cinematography, but no budget tripod does and its ridiculous to complain about it. Yes, it will be a little shaky if you extend it to its full height – but all tripods tend to.
This is a fine tripod for home use with a desktop home studio. It is fine as a smaller, lighter tripod for travel photos. It works well for taking self-portraits or for keeping a camera steady for long exposures. I’ve used it every day since I bought it and I expect to be using this for a while, unless it happens to get run over by a truck.
If you’re a pro, you’ll want to pursue other options. For an enthusiastic amateur like me, it’s just what I wanted to replace an older mini tripod I got as a gift years ago.

The price on this seems too good to be true and the unit itself is OK but really only for a phone or a really small like Go-Pro sized camera. I would not recommend this even for a mirrorless camera and certainly not for a DSLR or anything in that size range. There is a detachable plate that is kind of the size and thickness of a small plastic potato chip, and it’s hard to access the screw mechanism to get it on and off whatever’s being attached. If you’re looking for a tripod to hold your phone this is OK but you’ll need an attachment to actually connect the phone. So I’m giving this 4 stars as a phone holding tripod only.

Very lightweight and still fairly sturdy. I use this for an old Sony Camcorder and my iPhone 14 pro. I use it to record my son’s football and soccer games. My only complaint is that when you are trying to follow side-to-side action with this, it sticks and jerks. I’ve tried everything even have put silicone on the joint but it continues to not wanna start moving and it’s not very smooth movement which translates into the quality of the video. If they would fix that one issue I would give this 5 stars. It’s a plastic joint so…

I recently purchased a camera stand that offers impressive flexibility and durability, making it a reliable tool for my photography/content creation needs. While it has several admirable qualities, there is one aspect that leaves room for improvement. Let me delve into my experience with this camera stand.
The standout feature of this camera stand is its exceptional ability to angle the camera in any desired direction. This flexibility has greatly enhanced my photographic creativity, allowing me to capture shots from various perspectives and effortlessly achieve the desired composition.
Moreover, the camera stand boasts a sturdy build that deserves praise. Its solid construction provides a stable foundation, minimizing vibrations and ensuring sharp, blur-free images. Even when working in challenging conditions or capturing long-exposure shots, the stand remains steadfast, offering the stability necessary for professional-quality results.
However, there is one area where the camera stand falls slightly short: its height. While it adequately serves most situations, I sometimes find myself longing for additional elevation. It would be beneficial if the stand offered a taller extension, especially for capturing overhead shots or when shooting in crowded environments that require an elevated perspective. The current height limitations can be a minor hindrance in certain scenarios.
Despite this drawback, the camera stand performs admirably overall. Its versatility and sturdiness make it a valuable companion for photographers looking to expand their creative horizons and ensure stability during their shooting sessions. Although it would benefit from additional height, the stand’s numerous other positive attributes outweigh this minor setback.
In conclusion, this camera stand impresses with its ability to provide flexible camera angles and a sturdy foundation. Its versatility and reliability make it a great investment for photographers seeking enhanced creativity and stability. While its height limitations can be a slight drawback, it remains a valuable tool for capturing exceptional shots in various settings.
