We went camping and used this to hold an Airtag for my dog in case he wandered. Worked great even in water.

Seems secure and water resistant enough for our needs (neighborhood walks, occasional hikes, and visiting friends’ houses). If you’re someone whose dog does a lot of activity in the rain, plays rough, rolls in puddles, or jumps into bushes regularly, I’d opt for a sturdier option.
