Hubs wore this last night to take the kids trick or treating and was the hit of the neighborhood. “That guy has no head!!” Young & old alike were creeped out, but in a fun way. Hubs could easily see where he was going but admitted the rubber mask was hot & a bit stinky – but worth wearing for the reactions he got. The costume fit perfectly – we got an XL, and he’s 6’1” and normally wears a 2x tee, for reference.

Looked and fit better than I expected. I’m 5′ 7″ and roughly 175lbs for an idea of fitting. The “neck/hat” is comfortable enough, but I have long hair so I had to gel and slick it back. The black fabric the covers the eyes is easy to see through and easy to pull down under the chin to drink and eat. Overall very satisfied with this purchase

this is actually a great costume i actually bought a headless horseman costume at my nearest spirit halloween store when the store was 50% off but i threw the costume away and i regret it.Now i just ordered this again. They never have these in Small so i always find the medium size so i got them in Medium. It was a bit big on me but i was able to fix that.First lets talk about the inflatable shoulders. The string is actually useless and it doesnt tie well so i took those off and hot glued velcro straps instead and duct tape it for more secure.2nd the latex mask neck.first of all it didn’t look realistic so i added fake blood with black acrylic paint together and smeared it on the neck to look more dark and not to white also on the top of the neck as well and let that dry.I painted the eyes part black because when you put the whole costume on you can still see the neck painted white through the black mesh that covers your eyes. The last part i did is I put velcro straps on the back of the mask and on the collar of the cape. Now I couldn’t super glue or hot glue the velcro to the latex because it kept slipping off so i used a very small size zip ties.First thing i did was i used a thumb tax and poked a hole through the velcro and also through the latex mask and inserted the zip ties and poke another hole going back out through the latex and tie it together.I hot glued the velcro straps on to the collar of the costume.when you attach both of the velcros together your cape shouldn’t slip off or fall off and not expose the neck and show your eyes.A quick tip do not over tighten the zip ties or the mask will start to tighten.another tip before attaching the velcro onto the back of the mask make sure to put the whole costume on first and on the back of your mask try to find a spot where the velcro should be put and match that spot with the collar so you know where to put the straps.

My son got this for Halloween and it was a hit! Some people laughed, some people cried and some people cringed, but he got a reaction out of everyone. He was very happy with it and the only thing was he did get a little hot, but he was able to wear it for a couple of hours pretty comfortably.

Costume très bien fait pour l illusion d’une personne sans tête. Je recommande.

I ordered this for Halloween 2016. I saw almost the exact same costume at my local party city store. They didn’t have it in stock. The only difference between the two was that the costume in the store had a higher collar on the cape.
Now for my experience. I am 6′-4″ and about 185 lbs. The costume fit nicely. The cape and shirt are one piece. The inflatable shoulder pieces are a bit of a drag to inflate. They have valves in them to keep the air in while you’re blowing them up, which is nice, but you have to get them just right to inflate them easily. The strings that are attached to the shoulder pieces should be replaced before wearing the costume. I re-tied them so that I would have to cut them off at the end of the night. They still came loose. The rubber “neck” fit well enough. I had to reshape it a bit with a hair dryer, but it wasn’t hard to do. I managed to try on the costume by myself when it arrived. I don’t think you should get dressed without help for a party. It’s far too cumbersome to finesse it alone.
The few downsides to the costume are negligible, but worth mentioning. I fixed the few functional issues easily. As far as looks, I found the black cape and shirt looked too shapeless. Both are the same shade of black, so it looks like a black blob with no detail in low light. I dressed up the costume by gluing and pinning a few things on, and adding a little paint. I’ve included photos of before and after.
Functionally, the neckband that you look through, keeps slipping down. I fixed that issue by attaching small velcro strips to the neck. I used small pieces and did a quick stitch to put them on. They have adhesive on the back, but I didn’t trust it to stay all night without some stitches in it. The shoulders were the worst part for wearing all night. They often shifted forward, and at times looked weird. I had to adjust them often through the night. Get stronger strings or shoelaces to tie them on, you could add a few safety pins to help keep them more secure.
The rubber cap is hot to wear. I wore a bandana over my short hair and it was soaked halfway through the night. So wear a thin cloth or t-shirt fabric on your head, otherwise you’ll have an uncomfortable and wet rubber hat on all night.
With a few scraps of extra fabric, some spooky cloth, Spanish moss, and cheese cloth, I dressed it up a bit. You can throw almost anything Halloween at this and it will make a difference. It just took some glue and safety pins, plus a few accessories like gloves and a belt.
The costume was a hit at the party and I won a prize. It has a few minor issues that can be easily fixed.

The costume was not exactly like the costume displayed. The cape was oversized which was great but a little confusing to get on. The head piece 😩 was small and did not cover the entire head. The fit of the head piece was loose. The material was wrinkled and would not stay down over the head without lots of manipulation. The head piece came folded in the package but unfortunately the folds caused it to be wrinkled and not fit or stretch over the head properly.

We threw some blood on the head to make it more realistic looking. Also added some Velcro for it to stay together. The shoulders are inflatable and your head sits in between them. You can’t turn your head very much and end up having to turn your body to see. My neck and forehead were definitely hurting by the time I took it off but man did it look cool and get a lot of compliments.
