I really don’t get the appeal of these toys, but kids seem to really enjoy them. And sure enough, my 4 year old is having fun with it. Just how many times can she feed this thing?! Fortunately, the sounds it makes aren’t obnoxious or loud and there aren’t annoying lights, bells, or whistles. She finds it cure with its big dopey eyes, but I kind of find it a little freaky. The blue color is an odd choice too. I figure she’ll bore of it after a year (I HOPE!). It seems a little expensive for its limited functionality, but it’s worth it if it provides entertainment for the little one.

one common thing I’ve started to notice is that FurReal friends are great as gifts if your little one likes animals, however the fun starts to end with the limitations of what the toy can do. You can’t help but to feel like for the price point there should be more interactivity to the toy.

I purchased this for my best friends daughter who just turned 7. She absolutely loved it and opened it immediately. She brings it with her everywhere now

I got this for my son for his birthday and he absolutely loves this! It is super cute and comes with “food” to feed it although I do wish the food wasn’t so small as it will be easy to lose for a 5 year old. My son has an elf, plush Dino, and this owl and he sleeps with them every night! I definitely recommend for any kids that have a good imagination and love to take care of their toys (like baby dolls and plushes). I would get this for any little my son’s age. The owl does many sounds and will even lick you and you can activate “wake” it up by pushing the button on top of his head.

The main thing is that my children like playing with this owl. They like to feed it and press its button so that it can flap and make a little noise. I personally think it’s a weird little toy that sticks its tongue out in order for it to be fed, and that the noises it makes two is quite annoying, but I am not the one that is playing with it. My children are and they have had fun with it as long as they don’t lose the tiny little food pieces that come with it they like to see that the food does come out of its poop shoot and giggle at this . Overall, as long as my kids like it I am fine with it. I just personally find that this toy is a bit annoying and a bit weird.
