This is my first experience with an electric dog collar to carefully train (dissuade!) a 7-month old rescue Hound who is very stubborn and set in his ways. We live near a National Forest with lots of animals and animal poop which can be a delicacy.
I was considering other more expensive collars (at 4x the cost) but decided to give this collar a try. I’ve been overwhelmingly pleased with the collar and use so far. It has so far been very robust, with good range, and excellent battery life.
I have mostly relied on the “sound” and “vibrate” feature, and very rarely have to use “shock”. The shock levels (1-18) make a lot more sense compared to other collars I’ve seen with ranges up to 99 (who wants to page from level 10 to level 40 in a dangerous situation). The “shock”, when needed, has gotten the attention of my Hound at levels around 3 to 5.

Got this for my puppy and it works great. I take him off-leash just about anywhere he’s allowed. I got it because we have a huge yard without a fence, and he likes to wander. I beep him when he’s getting too far and he comes right back. In just a few short weeks of having the collar, I’m now able to have him off leash without him trying to run off, even without having to use the collar. The battery lasts for days on one charge on both the remote and collar. Definitely recommend!

Bought this for my parents little dog, yappy little thing! They like a dog that barks when someone comes to the door as they can’t hear very well but it was just a bit much. I did the research and bought them this and explained to them how to use it. I’ve done lots of training with my dogs and am not always a fan of shock collar but I will tell you why I like this one! First off, simplicity (much needed for my older no patience parents), battery lasts awhile, ease of use, response from the dog, waterproof (it rains alot where they live). They ONLY use the beep and/or vibrate option. So far, the vibrate makes the dog think what the heck was that? So, at that point my parents give their dog a correction “Quiet” to have the pup associate what is being asked. It’s convenient because sometimes they are busy doing something and can’t go get the dog to tell it to be quiet. The other thing is the little dog started getting into the cat’s litter box. Now they can see when it’s happening (they put up cameras!) and when they see it going into that corner they use the vibrate button and yell out No! This has worked wonders. Dogs learn by association, not just words so if you are planning on teaching your dogs what is not allowed, make sure you also teach them what is allowed and give them praise when they are doing things you like (example playing with a dog toy, laying in their kennel, etc). Hopefully this tool helps bring more peace into my parents lives, so far lookin great!

I never thought I would consider a shock collar but I rescued a 100 pound “puppy” 3+ months ago that had never been worked with- just left to run around town on his own and never had to listen. Since he is so large, so hyper, and refuses to focus when I need him to, he has been accidentally too rough with my other elderly dogs (plus he chases my cats!) and it always worries me 🙁 I’ve tried avoiding this purchase for months but finally had to buy it! I tried the shock feature on setting #2 (it goes up to 18) and it worked very good at getting his attention but it turns out the vibrate and beep feature is all my ornery, very hyper dog needs to get him to focus when needed! I finally had my first peaceful, stress-free evening in nearly 4 months thanks to this product! If I hear him chase a cat clear across the house, I do not even have to move or yell! Why did I wait so long to try this? Lol! I am so happy for the amazing beep and vibrate feature so I do not have to shock him while still getting amazing results 🙂
*Update after a couple weeks- I’ve used this every single day for over 2 weeks and I still haven’t had to charge the battery once since it arrived and it still has 2/3!! The beep and vibrate feature is still all I’ve had to use! I am so happy with this product and I feel like I have a new dog now!

Note: I only use the beep and vibrate functions.
After using a couple different types I decided to go for this one. The biggest draw is the charging. Other types have to have specific chargers for the collar and the remote… and the charges don’t last long.
This one, the charge holds for about 3-4 days, charges quickly, AND uses a USB-C chargers for both.
My only “complaint” is that the lock button has accidentally tripped a few times making for confusion when I try to beep and it doesn’t, which, it’s just user error and the lock is there to make sure you don’t accidentally hit buttons if it’s in your pocket.

Let me start by saying I never had to use the shock feature. I removed the prongs before use to ensure that there wouldn’t be any accidental shocks. My 20lb Multipoo responded immediately to a low setting (4) for Vibration and Buzz. It distracted her more than anything. She was confused as to what was going on. Then she would forget what she was barking at. She now knows what the collar is used for and when we put it on her she immediately calms down. We used it also to let her know she is getting to aggressive with our 2 smaller dogs (10lb dogs). She tends to get a little rough sometimes during play time. The remote is easy to use.

I love this thing. It’s affordable and long lasting. I’ve been using this for about a couple weeks maybe more and honestly I’ve only charged it 3 times. I like the fact you can use a call button and also a vibration to correct bad behavior. My dog is a lab and I only use it to level 5 and it works perfectly. Her behavior and training have been such a breeze. Please make sure to do research before you use a shock collar on your dog. But I will use this for all my dogs in the future. I wish I got it sooner!!
