I hate that inflation or shrinkflation is affecting everything! I really like this product as it’s very effective in calming my dog when he’s home alone. But it’s quite costly in the fact that it has gone down from 45 packs to 30 at the same price (itay have even increased in price) kind of sucks! I have a rotating schedule at work. So when I know my dog will have a long wait before the dog walker I give him some of this in his morning meal. It keeps him chill. I don’t use it everyday but it still seems to work.

My Babu came to me with a severely stressed history which makes him beyond nervous. When he literally began jumping from fear of his own shadow and became aggressive I took him to our vet. We began prescriptions to calm him but I wanted to try something less sedating and researched until I found Purina Calming Care supplement. It received fairly high positive reviews on its effectiveness in soothing frayed nerves, encouraging sociability of shy cats, and overall improved behavior. The package states that it may take about 6 weeks of every day supplementing but I noticed a distinct improvement in Babu within a week. It did take about 2 months for him to come sit on the couch with me but he no longer hides under the bed when I’m up and about our apartment; he stays in whatever room I’m in now and seeks me out to play or just hang out. He still hides when someone visits but that’s okay. If the person is soft-spoken and calm, he’ll come out to check them out. He doesn’t like loud, disruptive noise but seems to handle fireworks better. Thunderstorms are no longer scary unless our high rise building gets struck by lightning (often happens), then BOTH of us are under the bed!! LOL!!
He prefers broths – Hertz Delectables. As he also doesn’t like to drink water much I combine a packet of the Lil Gravies, a packet of one of the stews, 3/4 packet of fresh filtered water and gently stir in the Calming Care so there aren’t any lumps and everything’s nicely mixed together. When he’s ready he’ll drink it up little by little throughout the evening until it’s all gone. That way he’s at least getting more water per our vet’s recommendation, AND the Calming Care.
I suggest giving this a try for nervous, stressed out or behavior issue kitties. But be patient as for some it may take some time to work. Many folks sprinkle it on dry food and remark that their cat won’t eat the food. How many of you will eat cereal with only dry milk sprinkled on?! ICK!!! To get your cat used to it perhaps sprinkle a just little bit on their favorite wet food or broth and mix it in well. You could spread out the serving throughout the day, a little at a time. Entice them with a teaspoon of non-flavored yogurt with a bit of the Calming Care mixed in. Specialized broths made for cats by Caru brand and others are a neat enticement where you can mix it into, as it also serves as a hydration aid.

From the time my Afghan Hound came to me (about 8 months old) he has had stress poop, a gurgle stomach and gets really distressed in the car or going to his groomer. He’s get violent diarrhea on the grooming table. Ugh.
I tried probiotics and food supplements to kinda chill him out and none were very effective. He’s been on this for 2 weeks and his tummy gurgling has stopped. He is still stressing in the car and going to the groomer, the vet, etc, but his poop is now formed and solid. The information I read about this is that it can take 6-8 weeks to be effective. So I’ll keep giving it to him and hopefully it’ll continue to have positive effects.

I bought this to help with my cat’s anxiety. She has always had a little bit of anxiety but when we moved in February, it got worse as she was trying to adapt to the new place. She started picking fights with my other cat, when previously, they had always gotten along. I tried this after reading the research behind it and it works like a charm! After a week or two, I noticed she wasn’t staring down my other cat, getting puffy, & trying to start something. Then after a month, she was back to her normal, playful self. Because of the cost, I only give her half a packet, once a day and that seems to be working wonderfully for her. In addition to this, I did add cat shelves and use kitty calming diffusers in my apartment so those things have also helped her. She really likes the flavor of this stuff. I’m so glad something has worked for her!

Not sure if it’s worked for calming our cat who acts aggressively with our new kitty, but to be fair I haven’t given it to him on a consistent basis. He absolutely LOVES the flavor and begs for it though!

Out vet recommended this for our nervous cat who was aggressive to our younger cat. Our nervous grumpy cat is now 90% calmer and even affectionate towards his younger cat buddy. It takes 4-5 weeks of one packet a day to actually work, but this transformed our cat into a happy, chillaxed feline.

I have been using this product for some time now with positive expectations. As this product is set for auto deliveries monthly, there’s little need to write reviews for every delivery.
However, while a minor issue, the box that holds the packets was not sealed. The packets are fine, but I like to open the box myself, and am always a bit suspicious about quality and integrity.

Excelente producto funciona muy bien y desde las primeras ingestas lo único observable es que el proveedor me envió el producto diferente a la descripción es una caja más pequeña con menos sobres, de gramaje más bajo, en general la caja se ve un poco extraña parece como si el producto fuera pirata Amazon ojo ahí… le escribí al proveedor para que me diera la certeza que era el mismo producto antes de dárselo a mis mascotas, me respondió que si que era el mismo, y que no se había percatado de que la descripción era diferente al producto enviado y hasta ahí; no me ofreció un reembolso de la diferencia o el cambio del producto etc.

My dog loved the taste, but we did not notice a difference in behavior. She really looked forward to my putting this on her food every day and ate it immediately. The liver flavor is clearly a home run. However, after 3 months of daily use, we still did not notice a difference in her anxiety.

The doses are individually, packages,.powders, which the adult dog and her six month old puppy like. The adult dog calms after consuming the product; however, she still barks and cries, when I take her puppy for a walk. That was disappointing. Also disappointing was that this product causes the puppy to become hyperactive. I’ve decided not to use this product with the puppy, and am hopeful that, with continued use, the adult dog will remain calm, when her six month old puppy, is removed from her sight.
