I have a very senior (17 years old!) terrier mix boy. He has a lot of incontinence issues, and these have been the best solution so far. The only issue is that he is quite high-waisted, so the diapers sometimes slip and don’t cover him where they need to. They catch most of his accidents, but there have been numerous occasions where they’ve slipped out of place and he managed to make a mess.
For reference, he’s a terrier mix (likely rat terrier and toy fox terrier) but has a body shape more similar to an Italian greyhound – petite and slim, with a deep chest and high waist – though he is probably wider side to side. He is a bit underweight at around 10 lbs. The size small fits decently but maybe a bit too long. I’m going to try the XS next as I think it might fit him a little better. I’ll update my review when I try out the other size.

I switched from another brand to these because they were slightly more cost effective – more per package for less price! I’m glad to report that after using these for the last month and half, I think I actually like them better than the previous brand we hand. The wraps are just the right width so they aren’t too wide and creeping over his chest. The adhesive is great and holds up very well; it just is a slight smaller than the actual band. Not a deal break and makes sense why it’s made that way. Absorbency-wise, these things hold a ton. Our old pup can wear these all night long without any leakage. Would recommend if you have a small-medium sized dog. We have them on a subscription because they’ve become a necessity and are a dependable product.

STARTED WITH DIAPERS
My preference would be to have a dog that doesn’t pee on my stuff…Since I’m stuck with the dog I have (because I love him to death and could not possibly part with him) the next best thing is to have these wraps. When he first started peeing on my favorite items to show his displeasure for not getting his way, I had him in diapers. Diapers were a huge hassle with his super fluffy tail, and completely unnecessary because he is not incontinent, he is spite-peeing (Pekingese). I was also extremely embarrassed about my dog wearing diapers in front of people, for some reason.
THEN REUSABLE WRAPS
Switching to wraps solved a lot of problems, but I started with reusable wraps. Sure, sure, I was saving the environment or something like that. But what I was really doing was doing a bunch of individual loads of laundry of just wraps or doing a full load but washing my family’s clothes with something that I knew was covered in urine. Neither option was really that great and separate loads just for his wet wraps was also a waste of water, so I gave up on the reusable route and switched to these wraps.
FINALLY FOUND THESE DISPOSABLE WRAPS
I tried multiple brands of regular disposables first. They were fine but put me in a weird position (read on). These wraps have really made a difference for us. They are extremely easy to put on him. They do not fall off. He does not pull them off. He can wiggle around and they stay on his tiny little frame. And, the very best part, there’s a color changing strip that shows when he has wet himself. Unlike with those regular disposables I tried first, I do not have to be that disgusting dog parent who is smelling my dog’s genitals to determine if it’s time to change him. No longer do I have to say things like “does he feel wet?” or “look inside and let me know what you see.” Ewww, gross.
Now I just take a subtle peak at the outside of the wrap and if the yellow strip has turned blue, bingo, time to change. Now there’s really nothing to be embarrassed about…other than the fact that I cannot train my dog to stop peeing on my stuff.

Great price and they do hold a good amount of urine too. My dog gets a little irritated from any disposable wraps, so I use Vaseline as a good barrier to help with irritation. We normally use reusable wraps, but when we are out and about we don’t. It’s still great to use Vaseline as a barrier on any diapers disposable or not. My vet recommended it. If you are worried about petroleum use Burt’s Bees diaper cream.

Not one mess on the floor or on my dog, when I take it off my dog’s fur is still dry (and he goes off like a fire hose) super absorbent ! Maybe the next time an Astroid is heading for earth they should throw one of these at it, LOL, super absorbent .

My little dog is in renal failure and can’t control his leaky bladder any more. His favorite place in the world is on my handsome honey’s lap and his little “squirts” were causing lots of discomfort for both of them, so we decided to try these diapers. They’re great!! Sadly, we’re having to put them on him at night now because he’s having more accidents and they don’t seem to bother him at all! There haven’t been any “accidents” in a while now and that keeps everybody a lot happier. I highly recommend them!

Many of these dog wraps have velcro that is hard to undo. This does not scare my dog with the screech of unfastening. They are absorbent. He does sometimes leak if I don’t carefully adjust. He can slip out but it’s not the velcro – he just shimmies out by sliding around on his bed or carpet. I keep buying these as they have been reliable. I had one that was defective but I’ve bought a lot of them.
