Works well as it is a factory Nikon battery. Never had an issue with them. Price is always subjective!!

Bought a Z8 and played around for 3 days and the original battery got low. Received this battery and put in charger (MH-25a comes w/ Z8) and noticed that the fully charge time is much shorter than the original one comes with Z8. Played Z8 with this battery for 1 day and noticed that the battery is almost exhausted. Tried to do a test (not scientific one). Shoot 500 photos around the house within 40 minutes, original battery got 82% charged. Did the same thing with this battery and got 48% charged. Continued to shoot with this one until battery got 4% charged. Put it in charger and clocked the time. 1 hour got fully charged. The original one needs more than 2 hours to fully charge. Both batteries are EN-EL5c with the exact same specification and both are by Nikon. The back of the batteries are almost the same (designations and notes). Why this one is so different? Returning it and get one from photo sites (Adorama or B&H) to see if there are any luck.

This is a perfect addition to my camera. Always good to have a spare in reserve when the one being used needs to be recharged. This battery answers that need perfectly. It was shipped promptly, arrived in excellent condition, and is being charged for first use. I am perfectly satisfied with service and availability.

If you can catch it on a discount, it’s great value for genuine Nikon part.

I do photo events on the weekend – so longevity is paramount. I need to know that my batteries are going to last. It’s not practical for me to carry around all my gear all the time. This battery has gotten me through a standard event without needing to change off. I was shocked but impressed. I got the feeling that my new camera was going to “eat batteries,” so to speak. I have been so happy that isn’t the case!
So far, so good. Now, the question will be over time – will it still hold its charge? I haven’t used it long enough to know. I’m pleased so far!

Not wanting to get caught with a dead battery while out taking pictures, I thought it made sense to purchase the Nikon EN-EL15c Rechargeable Li-ion Battery for the times the battery in my Nikon D850 would decide to take a nap.
These hold a charge so well, it almost didn’t happen, but finally, after thousands of pictures the main battery gave up. I easily slid it out and slid in this one to replace it, and I was back at picture taking with hardly a break.
From fully depleted, it charges in about two hours with the charger that comes with your Nikon camera. As an amateur photographer having two batteries is plenty for my shooting needs. Professionals may want more than two, so I can tell you, this is a good purchase.

I have tried and used many non-brand battery solutions and whereas they usually work fine, they never achieve the lognevity of genuine Nikon batteries. Ibelieve that Nikon hand-picks these, or they have a superior supplier, but battery life during shooting, as well as longevity of the battery are unmatched. In the end, the premium price point is not that much more than the one from no-brand solutions, as you have to replace those more often.

Last year I bought 4 third party EN-EL15c batteries after reading good reviews and experiencing good initial results. Then while prepping for vacation this year 3 of those 4 batteries would not hold a charge. I’ve never had any problems with Nikon brand batteries and really don’t ever do enough shooting in a day to carry more than the one in my camera and a spare. So here I am now with 2 dependable Nikon OEM batteries. ‘Nuf said.

Una batería original siempre será más duradera e importante para un buen uso de tu equipo. Comprar una batería extra me dio un tranquilidad enorme, estoy muy satisfecho con mi compra.

Works with Nikon Z8, seems to be legit Nikon battery. Priced at less than $60 when I bought several for my camera.
