This thing is awesome. Set up takes 5 minutes, and the app couldn’t be any easier to use. Once friends/family download the app they can be sending photos within a minute or two. Extremely intuitive interface.

Fabulous gift for the office, especially if you have long distance kids/grandkids. Imagine having a bad day at work and then a great pic of your grandkid pops up … day saved.

The quality of the frame itself is also much nicer than I expected — I got the black wood version. Nice seams, no weird burrs or nicks. Simple and elegant. Screen quality and image display resolution are excellent. It is corded (only), so think about that when considering where it might be used/placed. Perhaps suboptimal if you were thinking about hanging it on a wall without a hidden recessed outlet.

Electronic features are pretty basic, but that is probably perfect for most folks. Maybe for home I’d want more bells and whistles, but not even sure about that. All-in-all, at this price point (I think I paid $69.95) you can’t go wrong. I will definitely be getting more to give as gifts around the holidays.

I ended up returning it because there were a few deal breakers for me, but it doesn’t seem like a good quality frame.

Pros:
-Thin frame/large screen
-Photo quality is excellent
-Can choose to fill frame or fit photo to frame
-When fitting photo to frame, there are multiple options for the dead space (including a blurred extension of the photo)

Cons:
– Can’t upload from a computer, only from app you have to download on your phone
– If you turn on captioning, it shows either date it was uploaded or date it was taken and you can’t remove it
– Which date above is displayed in caption mode is based on order you choose display photos (either by upload date or by taken on date)
– No control to manually order photos
– Uploading from phone and captioning individual photos is not user friendly (very unwieldy & time consuming)
– If you use a micro sd to play photos, you can’t caption them without downloading. Internal capacity is 16gb and although you can increase capacity with a 32gb micro sd, that does not allow for captioning.

We love this digital frame! It works great! Connected right to our internet with no problems, loads the pics immediately! The quality of the pictures is astonishing! I even put old 60 years or older black and white photos on it and the clarity and brightness is amazing! The color photos are brilliant! I highly recommend. Can’t beat the price for such a great digital frame.

Love this frame. So easy to upload pics. I also bought 2 more for both sets of grandparents for Christmas so we can send pics of the kids.

I bought this frame because it had the dual option of loading pictures digitally from “friends” or manually from an external device (thumb drive or mini-SD card); I wanted to transfer photos from an existing (no longer functioning) photo frame. The set-up (connecting to wi-fi and updating the software) and transfer were easy, using a thumb drive. Data shows that the 2000+ photos I transferred used up 7.63 GB of the 32 GB available–lots of space. The display is crisp on this Full HD Frame. The touchscreen is awesome–swiping through the photos as on a phone. I’m using the frame in landscape position, and it automatically chooses the best part of a vertical photo to fill the frame; I have manually changed most of them so that I can see the entire photo, which means it is 6″ tall, still large enough. This frame uses an app on the phone to transfer photos, if you want to use phone photos, and doesn’t have a remote control. (Who needs another remote?) The frame is compact and works perfectly on my counter, though it can be hung on the wall. (Frameo has a back-up function to the mini-SD card, but we haven’t used that yet). I don’t actually plan to use the email function; I’d used that for our original Kodak frame, and then Kodak no longer supported it, and I had to reconstruct the photo collection from my computer–ugh. This Frameo checked all my boxes.
