This review is for the 256 GB card.
As sizes have increased and prices have declined, I have increased the size of my memory cards on my phones and tablets, previously using a 64GB and 128GB cards. With that being said, the brand I go with is Sandisk and when this went on sale for less than 30 bucks, I grabbed it. They have been reliable and most importantly have good lifetime warranties, although I will put that with a caveat that they can be a bit of a pain to deal with on getting replacements sent. I get the extreme pros because of the lifetime warranty as San disk has moved away from warrantying all of the SSD’s for life.
For this particular card, I am using as an SSD for my old venerable I-pod, mainly for storing my 88 gigs of music files. This installed into my SSD card reader for my I-pod with no issues and recognized the full size without a hitch.
The card’s transfer rate is fast. I copied the music files quickly with no issues. I can access the files quickly and easily and the card has worked reliably as I expect from Sandisk. Keep in mind that I got mine direct from AMZ. I suggest either that or a known reliable seller, which can make a difference in getting a real one versus not. If you get one that has different fonts or just looks different, I suggest checking with San disk directly to make sure you got what you expected.
The only reason the rating for these are not 5 stars is because San disk has started lowering their warranties on their products and making it a bit more difficult to get warranty replacements.

I love the San disk SD cards. They work well, they are sturdy, and don’t give out easily, I have never had an issue with any of them and I love that they come packaged well in a box and a plastic holder inside the box to ensure the product is safe and comes undamaged!

Have never had a read/write failure. Used here in Olympus OM-D E-M1 series pro cameras. The card is fast enough for 4K movies and uses very little power. Very long exposure photos work fine with this card. Reading via the SD Slot on Apple computers is like reading any disc drive. Allow the camera to format the card, very fast and also creates the file headers. You can plug the card into an adapter and read it via USB as well. I’ve used these in several CANON cameras and an Olympus digital sound recorder, too. The sound recorder is more demanding as it is continuous write to the card, full fidelity from crossed mic inputs. I leave the pictures on the card even after loading these to the computers or network as long term storage. Years later I might consolidate. I’ve never had a problem with these SD cards.

I thought these were all the same. I was wrong. I used some cheap ones and lost some vacation pictures. Then I read up on these things and learned that there a lot of differences. I bought this one because it has great specs. It works reliably and my camera is much faster taking pictures using this card.

As a photographer, this is my favorite SD card! The speed is perfect and lots of storage allows for not having to worry about switching SD cards in the middle of something important. Easy to use and lots of storage for the price. 10/10 recommend!

Media card for my older digital camera. I purchased a used like new SD card. 64 GB; installed and reformatted and it was ready to go. Snapped a couple pics and it seemed to work exactly as expected. Buy used and save a few dollars- a little risky when precious photos for once in a lifetime trips are concerned. Good for videos and still photos.

I film for my YouTube channel @2A_CaliGuy. When you drive a long distance to film it’s important to know you’re video/phot files are safe. These give peace of mind. With other cards I almost always had to upload to my laptop out in the field to make sure I didn’t loose/get corrupted files not these. Very happy will buy more.

I’ve been using SanDisk as my go-to SD card for the last decade, and it’s been a positive experience overall. Got this 128GB SD Card to add to my gig bag for my Canon 5D IV camera. The read and write speeds are about 182 MB/s and 98 MB/s, respectively. These are pretty impressive R/W speeds for an SD card that goes for under 25 dollars. Solid performance and solid deal. Worth.

I recently purchased 5 of these 64gb cards, all for the incredible price of just £11 each. I couldn’t be happier with these cards, and here’s why.
For anything photography-related, these SD cards are an absolute dream. The combination of up to 200MB/s transfer speeds, UHS-I, Class 10, U3, and V30 ratings means that I can confidently capture high-resolution photos without worrying about performance issues. It’s a relief to know that I have the speed and reliability to capture all those special moments without missing a beat.
One of the standout features of this package is the included RescuePRO Deluxe software. It’s like having an insurance policy for my data. In case of accidental deletions or data corruption, this software has got my back. Knowing that my photos are safe and recoverable is a peace of mind that’s truly priceless.
However, it’s worth noting that for serious video work, especially 4K or higher resolutions, you might want to consider faster cards in the SanDisk lineup. While these cards are excellent for photography, video recording at the highest quality settings demands a bit more speed. SanDisk offers options to cater to those needs, so you can find the perfect card for your specific requirements.
