This blanket is soft enough but isn’t super soft to the touch like a fleece would be so take note on that. It makes for a fantastic top blanket on a bed in the summer because its still breathable yet forming to your body due to being more of a stretchy material. I got a king size for a queen sized bed because I like lots of hang over and it fits perfectly. On the down side of things I got a dud one and will now have to return it for a new one because though I decorate with blue I dont particularly enjoy ” A BlUE INK STAIN” in the middle of it. Must have been a return. This was an unfortunate inconvenience for me since I now have to buy a second to wait for my return to go through if I want it right away which I do. I do recommend the blanket though providing they dont all come with ink stains on them. 😜 UPDATE REVIEW: rebought a new blanket. It came quickly but it looks completely used and wrinkled and smells absolutely TERRIBLE! Smelled up the whole room of strong food or something. Yuck! Also recieved a dress that also has a big stain and wrinkled up. What is going on with Amazon as I have not had these issues in the past.

I love the nice weight of this blanket as well as the waffle pattern. It’s very soft and keeps you cool at night. It’s a great companion for those warmer summer afternoon naps. It drapes nicely on the bed and/or sofa. Yes, it can pull easily, but that is to be expected with anything that is weaved. It’s not something you can toss around and not be conscience of what you’re wearing (jewelry, zippers, pets, etc.) that is, if you’re looking to keep it pristine. However, it remains on my bed where I don’t wear jewelry to sleep, so its still in perfect shape after a month.

I have washed and dried it once before and it came out good as new. There were a ton of lint that came off of the blanket in the lint catcher thing (unsure of formal name) of my dryer though.

Overall, great quality piece that I have thoroughly enjoyed and would consider buying more in other colors! Highly recommend!

We’ve used this the last couple of nights and it’s quite comfortable to the point where we sleep soundly. The blanket in very light and soft, it does keep you cool plus I’ve noticed that it seems to reflect your body heat back at you. So it basically keeps you comfortable without being too hot or cold. When sleeping on a cool night, you’ll notice on your legs what feels like comfortable warmth without feeling hot or cold and you don’t have the weight of a heavy blanket on you.

The type of blanket we usually use, we can no longer get as the Store chain no longer carries this type of blanket. We usually get an Egyptian Cotton waffle blanket similar to what you would find for a warming blanket in the hospital.

So i decided to check here on Amazon.com and found this blanket made with 50% Bamboo and 50% Cotton.

Took the plunge and ordered one of these. The color I wanted was Burnt Orange, but the soonest I could have gotten it was the 22nd or so of this month. So I went with the Taupe and ordered a King Size.

The blanket came in yesterday (2023-08-09), washed it on the delicate cycle, then basically air dried it on the delicates cycle. The lint filter was full of lint about three sixteenths inch thick.

Once it was done, I put it on the bed. The blanket is nice and soft, softer than my old blanket and feels like it’ll be good for summer nights where you don’t want anything heavy on you. I’ve yet to sleep with it, so with the nights starting to cool down, I’m hoping I’ll be able to use it through the next two months before putting it away for the winter.

The only downside I’ve noticed is my old blanket used to hang down to the floor on both sides of the bed which meant we both had enough blanket to cover us without the edge being too short.

Our bed is a Traditional Queen size. (not a high mattress)
Now this new blanket appears to be about 14 to 16 inches narrower than my old one. The sides are approximately 7 to 8 inches from the floor.

Our bed consists of the bed frame which allows shoe boxes and such to be put underneath it, the box spring and the mattress.

I mention this because some have a box spring, while others may not have the frame and so on. So this ought to give you an idea of how much it hangs down the side.

I had been on the hunt to find a lightweight blanket to put on my bed, over the flat sheet, but under the coverlet for a while. I sleep too hot to have a traditional plush, fuzzy or scratchy blanket. For a long time, I only had the sheet & the coverlet, but I wanted a little something extra & this fits the bill. It is super soft & comfortable. It is very breathable, so I don’t overheat. This blanket also washes very nicely. As some reviews mention (and I think Bedsure addresses this in the listing), there is a good amount of lint in the dryer’s lint trap after the first wash, but it has decreased with each subsequent wash. The only part I don’t like about this blanket is that it could be wider. It covers the surface of my king-size bed fine, but there is very little extra on the sides. I am very happy with this blanket. I bought a second one for my guest bedroom & I want to buy another one for my living room.
