These balloons are quite resilient compared to dollar store balloon animal balloons. The pump works great, and was used to blow up all kinds of balloons without fail, by multiple kids.
The pump uses a ball valve. So holding it upright will help it to work its best. If it stops working well, oil could be added to the valve or grease to the plunger o-ring. So far though, I haven’t had to do those things.

These balloons are great! Never made balloon animals before so I just winged it. Watched a few videos. The kids played with them all day long. They held up great to the punishment. Tip do not overfill leave a little room at the end to twist and manipulate the balloons.

I rated this four stars because it brought my 9 year old a lot of joy for about three days and was not a great deal of money. He watched Youtube videos and learned to make quite a few different balloon things. It was really cute. Then the pump broke. We ordered a new and hopefully better pump.
