Tone –
Picked up this set to make cupcakes. The tips are kind of small to make cup cakes. It still came out beautiful and looked perfect. Used them to spread the buttercream across the tops. The bags are great quality, and enough room to fit buttercream for about 18 cupcakes. The elastic ties were a little confusing but I got em to work. Overall this set is a great starter set. Durable and very easy to clean and store. Once dried I store them in the original packaging out the way. 4 stars

This set is perfect for me. I make birthday cakes for my family and this kit will allow me to decorate them a little nicer, a little more professional. There is a booklet included that gives advice on how best to use the tips. I am also the designated deviled egg maker for the family and these tips and bags make easier to fill the eggs and they look great. All of the pieces are well made, durable, and will last. Overall, I’m very happy with this set and will definitely recommend.

We used this kit to put cream cheese frosting on a birthday cake. It had all the tools we needed, and was excellent value. We were very pleased with the results.

The perfect starter kit at a great price. I’m a newbie decorator and a pretty basic cake maker. I had yet to bite the bullet and grab a kit decorating set. This one caught my eye because it really includes all you need for a good basic set.
The bags are sturdy and really look like they’ll last. The set I went with was the 15 piece set and it’s perfect for my limited needs. If for nothing else, the cake scrapers are a great way to get your bang for your buck. Everything here is well made and offer the perfect variety for anyone starting out that may be in need for the basics.

I love baking and decorating cakes for my kids’ birthday parties, but up until now, I only had 1 piping bag, and I hate the waste of disposable bags. When doing more involved designs with multiple colors of frosting, I always had to stop and wash out my bag between colors. Now armed with 3 more piping bags, I can’t wait to do some more decorating!
There’s a decent number of tip options, especially for a beginner, and having the couplers is nice so you can switch tips without refilling to bag if you just need a different texture. I haven’t used the rubber band ties yet, but I think they will come in handy when decorating with my kids, as they always tend to squeeze frosting out the back side of the bag.
My only complaint is that everything comes packed in a small bag, and it is tough to get everything back in after use. I wish it had a nicer storage container to keep everything together.
