It seems this was a damaged or returned item. The item itself was out of the plastic, inside the manufacturer box, and the two bolts that hold the adjustment bar on the bottom, the end caps were snapped off on both ends. As well as the grey footers were damaged and torn.
This is the second I have purchased as I am a preschool teacher and needed drying racks for art projects. These are a much more affordable option rather the 200-300$ priced real drying racks. I’m just surprised at the quality of this one whereas the previous had zero flaws or previous tampering.

I love this cooling rack! It folds out smoothly and holds strong when in use. It has so much space for baked goods; I often cool a full loaf of bread and a couple batches of cookies at the same time. I also love that it folds up so neatly when stored!

If this would be dishwasher safe it’d be 5 stars hands down. It’s a very practical, sturdy cooling rack especially when cooling more than a dozen of anything. The different height settings are great but trying to set them at those heights can sometimes be frustrating i.e. it sometimes just collapses when you’re trying to raise the height. Definitely don’t try and adjust if you already placed items. It’s almost perfect and is better than cluttering the counter.

I can put so many cookies on this thing, it is the best, not flimsy I have no trouble stacking cookies or bars in every level. If you’re a baker you need a wire rack like this!

Me gusto que ahorras mucho espacio, por que tienes 4 charolas para enfriar en una sola hilera. Se me hizo que es resistente, fácil de armar. Yo si la recomiendo.

I love the idea of this rack. I love that it’s collapsible, compact, expandable, and portable. I purchased 2 awhile ago and a couple of months later one broke. I bought a third to replace the broken one, but it arrived with the SAME piece broken. This piece holds the rod that allows the rack to be set at different heights. Without this piece, the Rod simply falls off, making the rack inoperable. I contacted Amazon to see if I could just get a replacement if the broken piece instead of returning the whole rack, but was told no. I will be returning new one and will see if I can figure some way to fix the old one.
