I am a HUGE Beetlejuice fan & I was so excited to get this in the mail! It all arrived on time & everything but it’s pretty baggy! I very much suggest you get it tailored to fit your body more, if you watched the movie you can tell his outfit was very fitted. And I REALLY suggest you buy a real cheap white button up for the dress shirt underneath, the dickie it comes with sucks & it’s very cheap looking. You can buy a real cheap white shirt basically anywhere & get a black tie with it too, I promise it will make a HUGE difference! And buy some cheap beaten up army boots or work boots to tuck the bottom of your pants into, usually Salvation Army sells that kind of shoe for about $10-$20. Other then that it worked great for my Halloween costume! If you’re willing to put the work into it then you will very much enjoy everything about this! I hope this helped!

Good outfit. It’s fairly flimsy but great for a fancy dress party. Easily recognisable as beetlejuice. Waist is elasticated.

The costume definitely reads as Beetlejuice, especially after adding makeup. The only downside is the material, feels like a pajama.

You only turn 40 once right? So who doesn’t want to have a costume party in April! I had an ’80s themed party where people could either dress up as stereotype ’80s or an ’80s character. Me and my partner decided to dress up as Beetlejuice and Lydia. Because I’m extra (lol) I decided to sew my own dress costume. I did not have time to make one for my partner. He is 6 ft 3 in tall and around 320 lb. This fit him perfectly. It was not too sheer, but you could see through it a bit. He did not wear the little dicky underneath, I purchased him a short sleeve white button up and black tie to wear with the “suit”. He said it was comfortable and we both had a great time at the party.
10/10 recommend

I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy something like this again, but it was definitely good enough for a work party. The pants are more like pajama bottoms with a wide leg. I had to tuck them into my boots in order to make the costume look more like Beetlejuice. The wig is sold separately, but is also not as good as other brands. I ended up buying a wig from somewhere else, just to make sure the color was more accurate. The wig from this brand is more like a gray-haired scientist. I found a yellow & green tinted blonde wig with receding hairline, instead of the odd balding from this kit.
The rest of the costume fit OK, but the slipperiness of the fabric took away from the enjoyment of the character. The “shirt” is also held together with little squares of velcro. My neck was much larger than the weird vest-like would allow, so I had to use safety pins to keep it together.

Le pantalon est fait assez long!
La fausse chemise est pratique pour attacher par dessus un t-shirt!
Beaucoup de bons commentaires.

For the price, this is hands down a great option. We wanted to dress as beetlejuice and Lydia without breaking the bank, so we gave this costume a try. It did not disappoint. The material is very thin and breathable, which can be good for indoor parties, but it can also seem somewhat cheap and easy to tear. My husband is very broad shouldered with a thick neck so it was a little tight but overall fit fine. The top is all one piece, which made the fit a little more difficult, it just goes at the neck, there’s no full shirt underneath. Pants are a little see through but not bad. My husband enjoyed the breathability since the wig was so hot. Overall, we would definitely buy this costume again and it was a huge hit. It’s also very difficult to find in stores, especially not at this good of a price.

For starters the actual costume piece fit really well. It’s made from a very thin material so it keeps you cool and you’ll stall very comfortable in this as well. The biggest issue is the tie/undershirt piece which is useless. It just ties around the back of the neck and has velcro to secure it. I instead used an actual button up and tie which really made this costume much better.

I purchased both this costume and the deluxe version, both in “Standard” size. Neither one of the costumes includes the wig or makeup. Of the two versions I much prefer the deluxe costume. For reference I am 5’11”, 195 lbs and wear a 42 Regular.
The standard costume (Rubie’s #888735) uses a shiny, satin-esque, very thin material. The jacket has a single dot of Velcro where the button should be and the lapels are backed with foam, which look like they will flip over to expose the reverse and ruin the look of the costume. The included dickie with tie is very small, it only covers the front and ends just below the chest area. The jacket is snug in the armpits and the sleeves are too long, but sized correctly across the chest. I did not try on the pants but they have a cinch and tie closure similar to pajamas.
The deluxe costume (Rubie’s #888736) uses a matte woven fabric that more closely resembles suit-type material. The jacket features a single button closure. It fits snug in the armpits, the sleeves are the correct length, but if i button it I need to suck in my gut in order to prevent it from stretching and pulling at the button. The lapels on the deluxe jacket have a much better appearance over the standard version but the jacket is not lined. The included dickie with tie comes down almost to the waist on the front and the back, and it has strings on the sides to tie it. Again, I did not try on the pants but they also use a cinch and tie closure. I plan on wearing my own white shirt and black tie to complete the costume.
For me it was worth the extra cost for the deluxe version of the costume. If you are more cost-conscious, the standard version looks fine.

The shirt part with the tie has no back which is very odd, so you need to get another white shirt to wear under it, the pants are extremely BIG we shrunk them a little in the dryer.
