For the price I was skeptical. I was looking for something better so for the price I can’t fault it but pictures can’t really show fabric quality. Was too thin for my liking. I returned it, but if you are just looking the visual effect for short-term use I’m sure it’ll work fine for you. I found a high quality version elsewhere, at a premium price but it met my needs. Imagine buying your costume at the big box store (starts with W) , or going to a theatrical costume shop. I went with the latter.

First off, I am amazed at the quality of fabric used. I expected thin see-through material yet I am thoroughly pleased to find out it’s quite the opposite. The material reminds me a bit of a dining room tablecloth. A bit heavy but also light. It’s actually perfect.

I agonized over what size to get because so many reviews said it ran small. I’m a woman and I usually wear a small or medium in unisex clothes. This item fit exactly how I would expect a medium item to fit, maybe slightly bigger, but I think this item is meant to fit loosely, so I would say it was perfect. I’m 5’9″ and the hem just about touches the floor. I think I could have possibly made a small work, but it might have been tighter than a monk robe should ideally be to look right. I wear a size 12 in women’s clothes for reference, size 32 in men’s pants. The fabric feels heavy and definitely synthetic, but not overly scratchy. Overall I’m very satisfied!

Not bad for the price but kind of expected a bit better quality. I ordered mine a size bigger just in case and it is tight on me. Gave it to the neighbor kid who wanted it.

Bought for my husband for Renaissance festival. All items were there. We both loved it wish it was just a little longer( I’m sure if we ordered the next size up the length would be perfect though). Over all a great buy especially for how cheap it was.

The quality of this costume is surprisingly nice; it has some thickness to it and seems well made. The cross and belt are also nice. I’m a 5’4” average female and the large was pretty big; I could have gotten a medium but as far as the whole style of it a size off doesn’t matter too much. Overall very pleased with this and its perfect for my weirdo photos I take!

My husband used it for his Gotham Scarecrow costume, the 4 of us were Gotham villains. I cut it all up, messily stitched it up, dirtied it up and it came out perfect!

Its a little rough around the edges, but I was able to scissor it into a good black mage robe with a white dress shirt for the cufflinks. It’s alright for the costume it wants to be, but it’s got great cosplay potential.
