Bright Copper
Antiqued Copper
Nugold Bright Brass
Nickel Silver – contains no silver, not available in the EU
Bright Bronze – most popular and shown in most photos
Antiqued Bronze.
Bronze is the hardest metal option. Copper is the softest. The nickel silver and Nugold are both somewhere in the middle strengthwise.
They will be made once you place your order. As with all handmade items, yours will be one of a kind and may vary slightly from the examples pictured. 3-5 business days production time required.
* Each hair pin is made with professional jewelry quality 10 gauge wire, hand formed and hammered. The copper is repurposed electrical wire.
See Milabu’s demo video on YouTube featuring some cute hairstyles with these pins!
https://youtu.be/NfOZ1l24Exw She is using the Bright Bronze in 3 1/2″ and 4 1/2″ sizes
Results will vary depending on the thickness and length of your own hair, and additional pins or hair ties may be required for certain hairstyles.
3 1/2″ and 4″ are the most popular and tend to work well with for most people.
The shorter 3″ pins are great for half buns or thinner/shorter hair with small buns, and the 4 1/2″ are for longer/thicker hair or if you want the ends to stick out.
*Unsealed bronze, brass, nickel silver and copper. These metals will develop an antiqued appearance over time with exposure to air and moisture.
They can be cleaned with an acidic mixture ie: lemon juice and salt, or scrubbed with a mild abrasive such as a brass brush, green scotch brite kitchen scrubbie or fine steel wool.

I love these hair pins! Working in an entomology lab, I need to keep my long hair pulled back, and these pins stay put all day. They’re both beautiful and functional!

The item is absolutely lovely, a nice strong metal pin. It’s beautiful aesthetically. It’s not the seller’s fault my hair is too slippery and/or maybe too short for it (it’s just below shoulder length) 🙁 I saw some other reviews mention that it worked on their fine/thin hair–my hair is a strange mix of v fine texture but also thick in that there’s quite a lot of it. Anyway, while waiting for my hair to grow out, I’ll be trying to practice using the pin. Maybe I’ll get the hang of it eventually!

Exactly as pictured. I got the beautiful yellow bronze pair of 4 inch hair pins. It took a bit of trial and error before I got the hang of getting them to hold my hair. The trick I find works best is to wiggle them quite a lot up and down through a bun to catch the hair from different directions. Order arrived promptly, and was nicely packaged.

These are fantastic! I have waist length straight hair that is fairly average in terms of how fine/thick it is. The 4 inch pins are the perfect size to lock my hair in a bun and still have about 1cm peeking out either side. They are both functional and elegant. I highly recommend!
